Ya, no big deal, just a coup attempt on national legislature, but Democrats are bad, or something, blah blah

That was what your party defined as a "peaceful protest."

Also lmao at a "coup attempt" with no weapons. Maybe turn off the Rachel Maddow and start thinking for yourself for a change instead of just parroting stupid talking points like a soulless husk.

The least violent coup in history.

Only in the west. People here truly have no regard for what a violent insurrection would actually look like.

No weapons, they were beating cops with all sorts of blunt objects. Those were weapons

I suppose you think Trump giving Maxwell the child moelsting trafficker aid and comfort was fine too?

You people are sick

It’s hard to rationalize that with Clay Higgins today and trying to revoke visas for peaceful protestors,

Go to any other country on the face of the earth and put down their government and see how long before you are kicked out, thrown in a hellhole  of a prison, or killed on the spot.

So if a dem wins next they can decide what’s a “put down” right?

We live in the only democracy in the world?

Yeah dude, a bunch of pro-second amendment gun owners tried to take over the government with no guns. Sounds reasonable. Again, you can't criticize any of this after your side actually killed cops during the Floyd riots.

I didn't say it was a political issue, I said it was a religious issue, which is why I put up a religious poll. Most democrats are religious. 70% of the United States is. Those that are not religious overwhelmingly don't support it. I said it was a amendment rooted in religion more than moral grounds. Which it is.

Interesting you choose to separate morals and religion, yet a lot of religious people I would say get most of their morals from religion. I dont believe you can separate the two like you are doing here

The cops started the violence by shooting rubber bullets and tear gas into the crowd of what turned out to be the worst planned and executed coup attempt in human history. So bad that most "rioters" orderly left the building at the polite request of Capitol Police and went out to an early bird dinner at Applebees.

I don't know about visas,  but the phrase 'right of the people' does not always extend to everyone in the country.  The most obvious example is with regard to 2nd amendment rights for those in the country illegally.  Form 4473 asks this question specifically.

Right- which proves the point I was making.

The constitution didn’t even pertain to all of its citizens at its inception.

Visas are a modern creation, where the government can determine who receives those privileges and who can’t.

Not everyone who wants a visa can get one.  And those who have one are not immune from losing it.

The smart liberals know it wasn't an insurrection. They'll lie and say it was because:

A) they're consistently disingenuous

B) they know their base is devoid of critical thinking skills and will just repeat anything they they're told

1. You can say "Antifa Tyler" all you want, but that doesn't make it true. I know 6th grade name calling is your favorite president's forte, but that doesn't mean its a viable strategy.

2. The fact that you're totally on board with all of the stuff shown in that Tweet kind of says it all. To recap: BEFORE anyone had been apprehended, before any killer or any motivation was proven one way or the other, the entire right wing establishment mobilized with bloodthirsty tweets, quotes, and interviews talking about declaring war on the entire left. There are tweets up there talking about rounding up leftists, bombing cities, ALL OUT WAR, etc....and no one had yet been apprehended. They IMMEDIATELY decided to use Kirk's murder as an opportunity to whip up panic and stoke the flames of divisiveness, to the extent that many are/were encouraging actual violent retribution against leftists.

If you support THAT, well...it tells me all I need to know about you. And it's not the least bit surprising.

Party of law and order, my ass.

Party of peace and love, progressive thought and unity...

Has shot children at schools and churches but decrying gun violence.

Has shot politicians and political leaders.

If you support all that it tells me all I need to know

Party of empathy and caring, my ass, Suck on my balls clown.

You mean violent coup plotters don't typically show up without weapons, then successfully breach their target putting a successful coup right within their grasp...... and then turn around and go home all on their own by dinner time?

The Washington Post reported on April 19 that District of Columbia Chief Medical Examiner Francisco J. Diaz found that Sicknick suffered two strokes nearly eight hours after being sprayed with a chemical irritant during the riot. Diaz told the Post that Sicknick died of natural causes, but “all that transpired played a role in his condition.”

Four other police officers committed suicide in the days and months after the riot.

The first was U.S. Capitol Police Officer Howard Liebengood, 51, who had been guarding the Capitol for 15 years and was on duty at the Capitol on Jan. 6. He took his own life three days after the riots.

The following day, Trump ordered flags at the White House be lowered to half-staff in honor of both Sicknick and Liebengood.

Several days later, D.C. Police Officer Jeffrey Smith, 35, who was injured in the riots on Jan. 6, also committed suicide.

Smith’s wife, Erin, told the Washington Post her husband related to her the fear and panic he experienced the day of the assault on the Capitol, and that he was afraid he might die.

In defending the Capitol, Smith was struck on the helmet by a metal pole thrown by rioters. Later that night, his wife said he went to the police medical clinic, where he was prescribed pain medication and put on sick leave.

Smith’s wife said he “wasn’t the same” in the days after the riot and seemed to be in constant pain. After visiting a police clinic on Jan. 14 and being ordered back to work, Smith shot himself on the way to work, the Post reported.

The families of Liebengood and Smith both sought to have them recognized as “line of duty” deaths, which would afford their families enhanced benefits.

In a letter sent to Rep. Jennifer Wexton of Virginia, Liebengood’s widow wrote, “After assisting riot control at the Capitol on January 6th, USCP scheduled Howie to work lengthy shifts in the immediate days following. He was home for very few hours over the course of four days. Although he was severely sleep-deprived, he remained on duty- as he was directed- practically around the clock from January 6th through the 9th. On the evening of the 9th, he took his life at our home.”

Dude…the crowd storming the capitol were meant to delay the certification of the election. The delay would somehow allow a fake set of state electors to replace the actual ones. The truly crazy part is most house GOP members and a handful of gop senators were in on it.

But I’m sure you like your version better.
