Was just about to post this.

He’s an incredible athlete that just so happens to run a 4.6 40.  While he may not have been a nuanced route runner at the age of 20, I expect him to continue to improve as he focuses on one sport.

off topic- currently rewatching the game and was reminded that Josh really needs to improve on his fades in the end zone.  That should be a huge weapon for us in the red zone (especially now that our tush push doesn’t seem to be as effective.  I say this because the last 2 pt conversion pass to Keon had poor placement.  If he had thrown the ball high and outside, I think it’s a fairly easy 2.  Glad he didn’t though, we probably would’ve lost.  Funny how those things work out

It's probably been mentioned in the thread, but I wanted to chime in.  I'm watching a replay of the game as I await MNF.  Just got to the tipped-ball-TD with about 4:00-ish remaining.  Did anyone notice what he did after what was probably his trickiest and most challenging catch of the game?

He flipped the ball to a sideline guy and trotted back to the bench.  There was no showboating, no choreographed moves, no histrionics, no fireworks.  Just "Yeah, job done".

It was like Barry Sanders.  I just love this kid.  You doubters can keep up your service to this board and fan base.  Rock on.  I love this kid.

I can comfortably say that I didn't throw any hate. At the time we aquired him I thought he was funny and was hoping to pan out because I love his character.

Yea it may have been about a foot off, but I have to give Wiggins some credit for a great coverage rep.

He took advantage of the angle on a ref who he knows doesn't want to throw a flag, and played the catch point aggressively enough to get a hand in fron of Keon while he was holding him up. It was one of those "the bad guys make good plays too" moments.

Im pretty confident that Coleman is going to have a productive season. What stands out to me as the difference between this year's Keon and last year's Keon is mental/attitudinal. He looks like he has fully adjusted to being on an NFL playing field to where he can now fully concentrate on continuing to  learn the position. He showed great presence/concentration in adjusting to the tipped pass that went for a touchdown. He showed he understood the importance of clock management at a couple of intervals. He didn't fumble when Alexander unexpectedly tripped him up. He had his game face on and was all business attitudinally. I think he has already grown up.

I believe most of us would like nothing better than seeing this low completion rate play gapped forever!

No one is a Keon hater today. It's stupid to act like there is.

He was legitimately awful last year all around, and in week one he came in and looked like a better player than he's ever been in his life. Props to him for putting in the work and putting together the kind of turnaround you hardly ever see at the WR position.

Stupid to act like there wasn’t.  Go read some of the posts when we drafted him.

Also, lmao, he wasn’t awful last year.  He put up OK numbers and was injured - no awful.  Just a bad take.

Ya he's all business out there.

His 2nd to last catch on the sideline where he went up and snatched it was awesome,  he's going to be a red zone monster, Josh messed up that throw on the 2 pt conversion but ya he has incredible vertical ability

Keon still has an uphill battle he’s not quick, fast, or even that big. Good game but let’s not crown this guy just yet. Last year was not a good rookie year, even by rookie standards. Not exactly trying to get hyped over the next Gabe Davis

He had solid coverage.  I still think Keon comes down with a well placed ball.  Open when he’s not open.

No kidding. You watch again. That's not his job to keep that from happening, especially in the endzone? Jeez... It was a bone head play by him to allow that .....

probably worst take in the board today. That was a clear penalty on Baltimore.

His job is NOT to be in that position of being forced out. That is on him. I agree overall that he had a very good game overall, but that was blunder through and through.

His job was to run his route across the back of the end zone illegal contact is not his fault, the refs blew that call.

Hard to say the DB had a full hold of the jersey on the right shoulder he may not have been able to jump or get right hand up, should’ve been called.

Keon aside, that play selection on the 2 pt attempt to try and tie the game was so frustrating to me. They needed to use space, bodies and movement to create an advantage in that situation.

Goes back to Brady’s lack of creativity to be honest.

If that were an Andy Reid offense, you would have seen all sorts of motions, crossers or rubs scheming guys open.

Instead we removed all schematic advantage and just took a legit coin flip chance with the game on the line.

Brady has to be better

He really seems to struggle with short yardage situations in tight quarters (i.e. from the 10yrd line in).

I am not sure how this fits into the picture, but from that distance you can almost guarantee they’re looking at a 2nd down run. It must have to do with their play designs but anytime we are 1 & goal or at the 10-13 yard line it seems like clock work

That's patently false.

Even with missing 4 games due to injury, he was 8th in rookie WR receiving yards, tied for 8th with two others in TDs.

And he measured 6'3" and 213 lb at the combine.

so he’s the 8th best rookie in a given year while starting for the Josh Allen

ps: we really don’t need to argue both McD and Bean trashed his first season openly this off season … it was not good
