Exactly. They were provoking the fans purposely. That still doesn't give any fan the right to put hands on the players, but the Ravens players created this situation intentionally.

Facial recognition is all over that place. There are hundreds of cameras on the stands to see every interaction, movement, nose picking. They are at the gates, etc.

 

I am not sure they also access law enforcement databases which scan against drivers licenses, and any other photo found for facial recognition.

I think so. And for that reason, I would not be opposed to Jackson receiving a fine. Yes, the fan was way out of line and he is being punished for it. But Jackson retaliated physically and their players created the possibility for it to happen.

I really don’t get why the ravens were so into taunting the crowd last night. It was super weird. All night long. I don’t think I have seen them do that to other teams before. It was like personal against our fans for some reason?

Yep. Lamar did the same thing the kid did, and he's an adult professional athlete. And his teammates were the ones who instigated the situation.

No but really, all those Ravens players deserve fines and Lamar should probably get a one game suspension.

I actually had to update my Global Entry stuff at the airport today. That digital ID is “relatively” new, and getting very good and much more widely available.  I hate to say more, lest I trigger someone.  I have no idea what my grandkids will see. (That’s what old people say, right?)

Yeah, No.  There are boundaries.  It's all about having some respect, fan should not throw things at player, push player, hit player.

I wondered if it wasn't going both ways a bit more than usual? I didn't see it (I'll rewatch the game tonight), but apparently someone threw a drink at Henry on one of his TD runs.

Ravens were really into this notion of a "revenge tour".  Unfortunately for them, they didn't keep their motors running hot for 60 minutes.

 

Or maybe they did, and it took everything they have to stifle us for 45.  Maybe Josh Allen is just an unstoppable force some days. 
When Knox deflected that throw intended for Shakir and it resulted in Coleman hauling it in for a TD I just laughed.

Kid probably spent 2 weeks wages to attend that game. And the spoiled millionnaire grandstands in the media. It’s pathetic. One day you might need some mercy too. Perhaps you’ll remember your staunch position about the firm application of justice!

I saw that in real time— that was near the end of the game. His last TD run. I think the taunting I saw was going on starting in the early 3rd quarter, well before that. 
 

you might be right though that it was going both ways. but still— it was a lot of cocky fan engagement from the ravens, when the game was far from over.

I texted some friends during the game about how there was so much time left and the ravens are going to look like major choke artists with all this early celebration. Didn’t think it would actually happen! 
 

I think Harbaugh is a great coach. But even his head seemed to be more in the celebrating and revenge stuff, instead of closing out the game.
