Even with Norris, their centers were easily bottom half of the league. Without him, it’s really ugly. They’re probably in trouble if he misses significant time.

This is Norris' 6th year in the league and he's yet to make it through 1 of them. He's already had oblique, hernia, and 4 shoulder injuries (plus whatever happened yesterday) and he's only 26.

 

He has an $8M cap hit for the next 5 years. Ottawa must have been popping champagne corks when they unloaded that contract.

No idea why this inept GM would trade Cozens and a 2nd round pick for this albatross.   My goodness, please stop the damage they are doing.

Sabres called up Josh Dunne (4th line enforcer type) for today’s game.

 

So that means the center spine looks to be Kulich, McLeod, Krebs and Danforth.

Yikes. And it sounds like Norris will miss a few weeks minimum, best case scenario, with the potential to miss a lot more time. 
 

 

 

This is where we are at in year 6 under Kevyn Adams. One injury to a very often injured center and they now have a group of centers that look like what you’d see on a team in the first year or two of a full rebuild.

 

I think the most annoying part of this all is that we are in what? year 10(+) of the never ending rebuild and they don’t have an elite C prospect anywhere in the system. The entire reason they decided to tank was to get the type of elite top line center you can only usually get at the top of the draft and now they don’t even have that anymore.

Just putting the pieces in place to move the Sabres to a non contact mens league in West Seneca.  They'll run roughshod over the rest of the teams. 😁

That trade alone should be enough to get any gm fired.  Not here.  No consequences and no accountability.  Just allowing this clown to continue to finger paint the long term payroll with the Tuch situation.  

Dahlin will beg out by the end of the season.

He's not just the worst GM in Sabres history, he is in contention for the title of Worst GM in NHL History. Years from now this will be studied in an attempt to figure out how this guy remained employed for 6 years. His asset mismanagement is astonishing. He's like the wide-eyed country rube coming to the big city for the first time, who immediately loses all his money on the streets playing the shell game.

I've actually reached the point where I am now convinced I will never get to enjoy a Sabres game ever again in my life because I literally think I will be dead before Terry Pegula does what needs to be done to save this franchise from himself.

Im not really a huge baseball guy but I've switched over to the game at home. Just too frustrating watching the Sabres

Can't do it in hindsight. I was there too. No more. it's ridiculous. We have a goalie standing on his head, and the rest of the team is hot garbage in every phase. 

 

Lindy may not have it anymore, and we know Adams is inept. Hopefully this is a Hoosiers movie moment when the players aren't buying the philosophy at first,.....then....., But that's wishful thinking. Adams should have been gone.....after that I don't know yet.
