Nice job getting that nuclear material.  Hoax.  Maybe Trump should focus on the consumption of cats and dogs instead of failing at pretty much everything else.  Deportations?  Down.  Prices?  Up.  Enriched uranium?  Still with the Iranians. Ukraine war?  Ongoing.  Murder rate in red states?  Higher than blue states.  Border wall?  Imaginary.  Still.  After eight years.  Same thing with repeal and replace. Deficit?  Soaring.  BB spending bill?  A joke.  Tariffs?  A joke, stupid, and also TACO.

This is what young Roundybout refers to as coping and seething. You’ll be OK. You’ve got bank.

1. This is not Nagasaki

2. You do not announce to the world that agents of a foreign country went to the sites. Their lives are now endangered.

Trump cannot help himself from self promotion.

The actions he took were absolutely necessary, and could gave been greater in my opinion. You are dealing with religious nuts who would gladly die in a retaliatory nuclear blast after killing infidels. These are the same people who used 10,000 kids to walk thru mine fields because the kids would go to heaven.

Trump, hit them again if you must, but shut up.

Do you think another round of bombing will be necessary?

I couldn’t even hazard a guess. That said, my thinking is that those who believe only minimal damage was caused by a dozen+ 30k lb bombs are kidding themselves.

Well, it is underground, the bombs might have hit the wrong spot. Or it was way more spread out underground than intelligence could determine. Maybe it did extensive damage but the Iranians hide that fact and act like everything is fine Israel demands Trump attack again

Yes, maybe. I have more confidence in precision guided 30k lb munitions however. I also think the world has seen what the Israeli intelligence apparatus is capable of. The Iranians can attempt to hide anything they like. I imagine there’s an Israeli intelligence asset helping them do the “hiding”.

Iran just admitted that the nuke sites were “significantly damaged.”  And that’s likely downplaying it.

Sure, now we should just leave them alone. Wonder what Bibi thinks about that? You know he isn't happy and wants Trump to attack again

i’m sure he does. Not gonna happen. But we know the sites to monitor going forward.

and didn’t know a better place to put this, but Trump just got almost all of the NATO countries to spend 5% of their GDP.  That’s $400 billion more. So much for trying to destroy it.

Coal mines, for instance, can go on for miles underground, so "precision" might not matter. They have had decades to dig out space in that mountain

Bibi will be demanding further action soon

That was good to see. Especially in light of China's sudden rise in military power, technology and possible ambitions

It’s a crime now to state the reality.  Perfect example of a dictatorship.  Maybe they can punish the global media.

You are merely trying to push a point. A lame one. Go for it.

Lame one? That they can drill, baby, drill underground for miles? You know any military history? Bombing doesn't always work. It's a pretty blunt instrument.

It will be interesting to see how Israel deals with this ceasefire while the Iranians clean up, retool and build

This is good? You realize any foriegn Mideast policy we had was completely hijacked by Netanyahu who dragged us into this situation.
Putin ignores DT.
This is where we are….but owning social media I guess?

If Israel wants to be certain the sites and the nuclear material and enrichment equipment have been destroyed they're going to have to send in ground forces.

Not even remotely true.  And even less true after Trump got NATO to pledge an additional $4 billion.

Nice deflection.  But every word I said is true and, as usual, you can't respond on the merits.  Trump plays golf, posts on Twitter, does a little red meat stuff here and there, but is of no depth, consequence, or result.

No, no additional technical questions  for your father at this time.

A couple non-tech questions:

Does your father share your view of the Israeli people and leadership?  Does he view the regime as genocidal, war criminals etc and support dragging them off to an international court?

Does he view the dismantling of Israel as we know it, reimagined into the two state solution as the only reasonable outcome to address the traumas of the past?

Jesus, Kay, I already said this.  I enjoy reading some of your posts but suggest efficiency might be your friend.

Easy breezy:

You’re asking the wrong question. My answer:  Wear the white one, it suits your complexion, will reduce the potential for flop sweating in the summer heat, and remember  that just enough accessorizing is found at the intersection  of “That looks nice” and “If this car goes into a lake you gon’ drown girl”.

These things and others I’ve learned over a lifetime of observing people, and you are very welcome.

Believe it or not, he’s not stridently political like I am and doesn’t normally discuss politics with me over the phone. We talk a lot more about the respective states of the Bills (yay!) and Sabres (ugh!).

Having said that, I can tell you that my dad remains a long-time two-state solution guy and only very recently began to acknowledge the genocide in Gaza (sometime around April of this year). He was especially close to his Jewish maternal grandfather, which I personally believe has compromised his ability to rationally assess the present situation. I’ve been a one-stater (a.k.a. an advocate for the peaceful dissolution of a Jewish supremacist ethnostate) for the past two years, as you know, and have called out the genocide and the far-right Greater Israel project since they bombed the first Gazan hospital (November 2023?).

Now…let’s get to your pop quiz…

<< pulls out red pen >>

<< shakes head disapprovingly >>

For starters, Leh-nerd, it is not a good strategy to question the writing “efficiency” of your quiz grader. What could be more “efficient” than a simple one-question math quiz to assess the health of a multi-year forum friendship?? Looking over your answer, you clearly did not take the quiz very seriously… Ugh, let’s just get to the answer key…

KAY’S OFFICIAL POP QUIZ ANSWER KEY:

STEP 1: Note the Cauchy red herring! Your clue that mathematical mischief is afoot! Why the heck would you need to integrate over the complex number plane, Leh-nerd?? This is a first-grade math problem, dude.

STEP 2: Note the extraneous sartorial information provided. I would NEVER be caught in public wearing a frumpy Hillary Clinton warmonger pantsuit. A mathematical possibility of precisely 0%. You’re supposed to know that about me, Leh-nerd…the quiz raison d’etre…

STEP 3: 2 * 4.5 = 2 * (9/2) = 9 blazer dresses. Put away your Boomery slide rule/abacus/sundial, Leh-nerd, and focus.

STEP 4: 9 / 1.8 = 9 / (9/5) = 5 skirt suits. OH MY GOD, Leh-nerd. I’m not asking you to solve a Millennium Prize Problem, bruh. Stop whining…

STEP 5: 9 + 5 + 2 = 16 distinct formal business outfits. 16 > 10. Take off your socks, Leh-nerd, if you need help counting higher than 10.

STEP 6: 16 / 5 = 3.2 weeks (also acceptable answer: a truncation to 3 weeks). QED,L. Quod. Effin.’ Demonstrandum. Leh-nerd.

Hmmm…but your remark about my complexion was surprisingly on point! How astute! Very light colors DO work well with the grossly pale white hue that I maintain for almost the entire year. Also acceptable color alternative: anything red to match the natural facial blush from the summer heat. Wow! You passed, Leh-nerd! Who knew that a lifetime of totally fu*king around in math class chasing floozies would somehow pay off for you in the biggest test of your life?? Our forum friendship is saved! Yay!

<< steps forward to hug Leh-nerd >>

<< trips over discarded pile of 4 frumpy Hillary Clinton warmonger pantsuits >>

<< extended arms create a punching motion that strikes Leh-nerd in the face >>

<< Leh-nerd too unconscious to consciously note the situational irony >>

EDIT: Spelling mistake: “assess,” not “access.”
