Nor do I think Texas is exactly friendly towards illegals. Yet the Homicide rates for illegals are 26% lower than US born citizens and 61% lower for legal non US born citizens. This isn't a hard exercise. The US has highest murder rate of any G7 country the last 3 years. People who aren't born here don't have the affinity for violence the natives do. Go figure. https://www.cato.org/policy-analysis/illegal-immigrant-murderers-texas-2013-2022 You are so dumb you think an illegal murderer is just as likely to be convicted as a native born murderer? We as a country have a 40% clearance rate for violent crime, and the clearance rate is worst in areas with large illegal immigrant populations, but I live in an area with a large population of legal immigrants and they want to keep our the illegals more than anyone else I know but I am sure they are just racist.
Wacka Posted yesterday at 06:53 PM Posted yesterday at 06:53 PM The first week I started in the lab in Grad school (back in 85), the lab went to a conference on yeast genetics in Toronto. We had me, my advisor, another grad student, a lab tech (all of us American natural born citizens), and three people with green cards. Going into Canada we all had to get out of the car and the nonUS citizens went into the office at the Peace Bridge for about 19 min to have their papers inspected. Coming back at US customs. the man in the booth looked at their papers quickly and asked us why we had gone to Canada. We explained and then he asked us how many cases of beer we had in the trunk. We were perplexed at the question He said " Since you study yeast, why didn't you bring back some beer? You could have brought back a case a person duty free!😀" This part is for the people that either didn't grow up here or move when little: Back in the late 70s we have a car full of guys going to the strip clubsin Ft. Erie. At the Canadian customs, we would just say " Canadian Ballet" abd he would say "Have Fun!"

Don't know if Canadian legal system allows then to do that.

It's always insults, bad sentences, and things that can't be proven. Oddly enough, usually in that order.

To believe Latinos legally in the country are more prone to violence than Latinos who broke the law in order to be here is dumb. I can recognize patterns and know when I am being told something that makes no sense.

The only insult I ever pointed your way is about your addiction to posting. How obtuse are you? For a leftist you're elite level. Let's recap: 1. You asked how illegal immigration affects the average American, specifically me, since average Americans being murdered, raped and robbed isn't sufficient to warrant concern in your book. 2. I laid out exactly how mass illegal immigration impacts all of us. 3. You responded with the tired deflection of what you claim to know about me based on my posting history. 4. And here we are. I didn't say you insulted me. You can't insult me. Attempted insults from leftists I wear as a badge of honor. 5. What you actually did was deflect from the honest debate that you have whined about not being present here at PPP for the past week.
Roundybout Posted yesterday at 07:34 PM Posted yesterday at 07:34 PM Being disruptive at a presser is not a crime. It’s authoritarianism, plain and simple.

gobills404 Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM Posted yesterday at 07:52 PM Lol the people who cheered when their political opponents got arrested are now crying fascism because one of their own got detained for a few minutes. Ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun, huh?

"He's lost it." First of all..."stone cold liar"? What is he, Shaft? Can ya dig it? Second...he's most definitely a politician, he just has to be called on his version of BS. Here's an example where he exposed the world to COVID while implementing strict rules and regulations for the little people of Cali: https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/18/politics/gavin-newsom-french-laundry-california-governor

You put up a couple posts of crime on Twitter, yet no evidence exists that Americans aren't murdering, raping, and robbing at higher rates than the illegals are 2. You doubled down on never being directly impacted 3. Pretty sure your behavior crosses into an addiction, not so sure you can casually go without reposting content, still haven't heard you ever mention why you do it after asking multiple times 4. Cool? 5. Because something happens, doesn't make it what is happening. You and others here have a real tendency of citing singular examples as evidence something is happening. As I said, sharks HAVE bitten people, but I don't think I should be worried about sharks.

It is the US legal system that is the issue. They refuse to recognize a pardon in Canada, imagine, trump refusing to recognize a pardon. (To be truthful it has always been that way not just under trump). Just like the deportation issue of today. The purpose of the effort is to remove criminal and undocumented migrants. As it should be..illegals. but going after documented immigrants is crazy. Just like to border. Meant to stop hardened criminals, or terrorists, not some guy with a DWI, 60 years ago.
