Size wise, Jenkins leans more toward safety at 211 lbs.  Speed is good for a LB and average for a safety.

There are guys who have to try harder than others to run fast. Are you track fast or football fast? Meaning, are you fast when you are doing something else at the same time or only when you are trying to run fast?

Except Milano was actually drafted in the 5th round.  Every team in the league passed on Dolac could just mean he's not that good.

 

If the Bills had signed him would have been a nice feel good story, but it ends there.  The team is signing who they view as the best players, not listening to what emotional fans think.

That was the deal with Jerry Rice.  Depending on where you look, his 40 time was 4.45 to 4.7.    He said he didn’t know how to run the 40.    ???   Starter goes off, run!    It was Jerry’s work ethic that made him the GOAT.

It's the problem with a lot of guys and I don't understand why teams don't insist that players run and do agility drills in pads and helmets. "The players will then choose not to run" Well....that might be the case and it's the case today anyway, but most players will not make that choice.

32 teams all passed on him.  So he likely signed with a team that he felt had spots on the roster open for him.  I'd imagine most players drafted in late rounds 6 and 7 wish they weren't drafted so they could sign with whatever team they have a better shot at making.

 

What are we going to see when camp opens, that he showed up?  Maybe in about 3 years we'll see who was right.

So did Benford who the Bills drafted. I like the kid he plays hard but he’s not a great coverage LB nor as explosive as MM. As a ST guy and backup LB for 2 downs he’s capable. Hope he makes a very good LA team.

Wow I’ve seen him play multiple games in the MAC. He’s a very good run defender.. I’ve also seen him get absolutely lit up on some occasions. He’s not as purely athletic as other LBs. That is imho. I am a fan of all the UB kids but I like to be objective. Nobody would know more about him than Bills scouts. He may have gone where he got a nice $$$ sign on and feels he can make a team.  I would be thrilled if he makes the 53. But it will be tough.
