Its insane how good Josh is That is a blanket statement that doesn't take into account QB pay/cap hit. I'm not saying not to help Josh and get more WR. We should. But he actually seems to be right in line with the other QB's "help score" who also received a major pay day. There's nobody with a bigger "help score" who makes more money than Allen. I'll be put a little bit of an asterix on Hurts because his cap hit hasn't begun to come due. I have to question a "help score" that has Chase and Higgins as a negative. Lolz. But if you want to trust it, Allen seems to have as much help as Tua does and they have Waddell, Hill, and Achane. Quote

I guess they really take into account the close premium parking space between McDermott and Beane written into his contract as “help” 1 Quote

If you're referring to last year, Love , Lawrence, Goff, Lamar, Hurts, Herbert and Watson all made more than him on that list that had more help.. What are you referring to? Quote
MJS Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I guess they are doing it right. Looks like he doesn't need more help. Best to spend money to strengthen the team elsewhere. Also, what the heck is "Help Score"? Quote

You are going to get comments about them “doing it right” when we have an empty trophy case, but you are making a fair point. Quote

Its insane how good Josh is Josh is amazing, but the offense once it added Cooper became a lot better than the sum of its parts around Josh. The offensive line being a top 3-4 unit is massive, the RB core have 3 players that are all valuable and can catch the ball well out of the backfield is big, and the TE combo is a better one in the league. Even the WR core while not a top 10 unit is decent esp when Shakir is a top slot WR in the league. So while I do think it is very obvious that Josh massively raises the ceiling of the offense I do think the offense helps out Josh a lot more than people give it credit for too. I think Joe Brady designed a scheme that fits Josh well as it doesn't call on Josh to just huck it chuck it football down the field all the time and has a running game behind that can grind out the clock. I still would have liked the Bills to have done more at WR in the off-season but outside of DK who came at too steep a cost cap wise (and draft capital wise) there wasn't much out there at WR and the draft just didn't shake out either. But I'm also not gonna sit here and act like the Bills offense is being completely carried by Josh either. Quote
