I just don't want the Ravens to win their division or end up as the 7 seed. I'm not worried about the Broncos or Chargers. I just don't want this defense to have to worry about Henry in the cold.

It doesn't matter because Jackson falls off in the playoffs.

Ravens wont matter whether they make playoffs or not

He played well in the Houston game last year.  151 yards passing, 100 yards rushing, 2 TD's, O INT's, and a 121.8 passer rating.  Then Monken bizarrely decided to go pass happy against the Chiefs after watching us run it down their throats the week before.  If the Ravens can stick to their script this year with a run heavy approach with both Lamar and Henry they could easily win the AFC.

The only thing they'll easily do is fail again. That's THEIR script

If the narrative is your QB shouldn't pass in the playoffs it's at minimum a problem.

He had 50 yds passing in the first half vs Houston and it was 10-10 at halftime. His running in the rpo and the ravens defense ( which was awesome) rised up and won

Then against KC, the KC defense literally dared him to pass, put in 8 in the box and played tons of man and Lamar looked atrocious

He has 6 passing touchdowns and 6 int in the playoffs in 6 playoff games. With a career passer rating of 75 in the playoffs

Fyi nobody has ever won MVP if they are not top 10 in passing tds or passing yds in NFL history.

Nobody has won their second MVP unless they got their first championship

There is precedent to win MVP when you break all time records in NFL history and even if you have over 20 int

Kurt Warner won MVP with 22 int. 26 total tos

They found a reason to not given it to Allen and that's wrong

Your claiming their script is to try and fail again?  If that's the case I feel bad for Ravens fans.

Did Bernie Kosar and the browns get past Elway? No.

Did the Bills win one of 4? No?

Did Detroit beat SF last year? No.

Did Marino beat SF or ever get there again? No.

Ravens have 2 SB wins in the last 24 years. Nothing to feel sorry for lol

Lamar's 75 career rating in the playoffs says it all.  The script is obvious.  You stop their run game in the 1st half and force Lamar to be a pocket passer in the 2nd.

Easier said than done stopping their running game as we learned on the Sunday Night shellacking week 4.

I am hoping the Steelers and Ravens meet on WC weekend. Pit usually has their number and the games between them are extremely physical as they both hate each other. This has been the best rivalry in the NFL the last 25 years or so going back to the days of Lewis and Ben.

that would be a 3-6 game.

chargers / broncos need to be ahead of 2nd place #6 seed to gain #5 because both LAC and DEN have lost to both BAL/PIT. Thry dtill play each other once which likely means one loses. Chargers best broncos earlier in season.

thr loser of charger/ broncos for 2nd place would be #7 unless colts/ fins/ bengals overtake them

#5 takes on Houston

thr other option is

5 balt vs 4 Hous

3 PIT vs #6

PIT at BUF other st KC

Toss up for me between:

BYE

Home Ravens

Home Chiefs or Home Anyone else

vs

Home Broncos/Colts

Home Anybody but Ravens

At Chiefs or Home Anyone else

Of course there’s a 1% chance the Ravens win the North, Bengals sneak in and we have to go Bengals-Ravens-Chiefs

The Bengals sneaking in is the only team I'd be pretty nervous about.  We haven't beaten them and I really don't want to face Burrow + Chase

There's a very slim chance we get the 1 seed unless we manage to win in Detroit

Even if we beat Detroit, it's still very slim. Chiefs have Browns, Texans (coming off beating the Jags by a field goal and a loss to the Titans), Steelers, and Broncos. They've lost once all season. Expecting them to lose half of their last four games seems pretty unlikely.

I don't see it as THAT unlikely.  The law of averages & all that - every game for them has been tight.  Maybe it's a "they know how to win the close ones!" thing, but I don't see how they make a guy's foot go out of bounds by an inch, or make a FG kicker miss a chip shot.

Good point… I like our chances against the Steelers or Texans a lot more than I do the Ravens, but man would it be sweeeeeeeet to have that bye.

If you're playing law or averages - they're currently averaging 1 loss in 13 games.

Losing 2 out of the 4 games - with the Browns and the coming off the rails Texans being 2 of those 4 games? I don't know how you can think it's not that unlikely.

On top of that, we'd have to go 4-0. Is it impossible that it could happen? No. But is it even close to likely? I don't see it.

Not a bad thought. Cincy... but they likely won't make it. I bet Miami makes it.

Either way - it's the Steelers that worry me. They are tough, playing well. If they squash KC on Xmas day then the rest of the world will begin to see. My bet on Fanduel is Steelers win AFC.
