Yep.  Lamar will be MVP.  Hard to argue against it though

No it's not.....

Last year Lamar won MVP with less than 30 total TDs  because the Ravens had more wins

Josh has 41 TDs this year and a low turnover total on a 13 win team

+ Allen played 2-3 games worth less than Lamar

What a joke.

Go show em they're wrong Josh.

The Bills locking up the division so early and having seeding 90% locked in since then really hurt Allen. We’ve had like 5 games worth of snaps where the Bills are in run the clock out mode, or barely anything to play for. Imagine if we really needed these last 3 games. You could add 6-8 TDs to Allen’s totals and probably 400-500 yards.

On the other side, you have Lamar throwing 10 passes in a drive up 3 scores vs the hapless Giants to pad his stats.

Ravens have no Zay Flowers this week. I hope Watt feasts on Lamar and gives him the poops again out of fear and playoff Lamar chokes once again. Dude already has a ***** up stomach. Flare that ***** up

MVP and all pro don't have to be the same, just as O player of the year doesn't have to be MVP. In fact, I would think o player of the year is more similar to ALL PRO criteria than MVP.

I think allen getting so many votes is actually a good sign.

A QB that wasn’t first team All Pro has only won MVP twice: Steve McNair (co-MVP so weird circumstance), and Elway (Rice and Montana split the vote, so another weird circumstance).

This would be kind of unprecedented, but the new ranked choice MVP voting system might make it more common moving forward.

Winning MVP with 29 TDs is also unprecedented. I guess we'll find out if voters are willing to bend the rules for Josh, like they are with Lamar.

Lamar played 97% of their offensive snaps vs. Josh playing 89%. It's really closer to 1 game.

At any rate, both extremely worthy candidates this year. Voters made a good choice even if we think Josh may have been a slightly better choice.

Josh Allen is still -450 in the betting markets to win MVP.

If you can get those odds anywhere, you probably want to bet on Lamar. I haven't seen anywhere that is still allowing bets on MVP but I'm not degenerate enough to seek it out aside from the one app I use and the other site I used to use.

As far as I can tell odds have been taken down everywhere. I expect them to look much different when sportsbooks put them back up.

Wow, Lamar might actually have more MVPs than playoff wins. I kind of think the media hates Buffalo.

Statistics over the last five years:

Total Yards:  Allen (27,871), Jackson (24,336)

Total TDs:  Allen (242), Jackson (188)

Team Wins:  Allen (71), Jackson (68)

Yet somehow Jackson will likely have 3 MVP awards during that period of time, while Allen has zero.

There is clearly bias... either for one player, or against one player, or both.  No other explanation.

Those numbers create an even more significant canyon when you include the playoffs

Look guys I honestly don't know what to say anymore

Clearly the media/ AP / players don't like the guy or at least it's a combination of disdain and ignorance towards the numbers etc. I don't think he's winning MVP if thats where the voters are....

We'll see what happens in the playoffs for redemption

Looks like from first post until now they pulled the odds. Expect a shift towards Lamar.
