All education is not the same

All experience is not the same

All testing is far from objective

Race, Sex, Religion and other non-productivity factors have nothing to do with qualifications.

No.  Does DEI care about experience?

RACE, RELIGION, SEX, and the rest mean squat when your all from the same quintile with the same education.

Experience is not a factor in DEI. eff, it removes that from the formula.

All experiences, education are not the same. That's why you need to consider those objective metrics.

In your world, how would job candidates be assessed?

Depends on the job, right?

Use to be all the construction jobs were reserved for whites. Not cool, right?

Some want that to continue so we have laws that fight that.

You are against those laws, right?

And one persons objectivity is another subjectivity

Like Affirmative Action favors race, but since blacks were not allowed in college before they can't have legacy admissions status. So is AA really wrong?

I think you're confusing objective metrics with a person's interpretation of those objective metrics. A degree in accounting from an accredited institution is objective. I'm concerned that you would discount that metric?

Tell us you don't know what you're talking about without actually telling us.

You are all in over your head.

There are different institutions, degrees and experiences, and it all comes down to people making decisions, which can be flawed.

Do you know why Philharmonic orchestras use to be all male? It's because they would not hire women, obviously. So now they do blind test so you only hear the music because people are so biased, They can't do that for every job. People are people

This is exactly what I'm saying. You need to judge candidates objectively, based on the institution and degree obtained. You want to be sure it's a quality institution with the proper accreditation for the program you're hiring from.

Sure, until they just hire white people

What would your requirements be for an engineer working on manned space flight tasks? How would you assess prospective employees? I know it’s not your thing but it’s ok to give a straight answer from time to time.

You ant it to be like before. No laws to make sure there is some form of fairness, isn't that right?

You can't discriminate based on protected classes. Race is a protected class.

Oh, so discrimination doesn't exist. It is now a thought crime to believe that
