He's great at pointing out how the team he coaches frequently fails to play complementary football, as though that has nothing to do with McDermott himself.

 

He has been setting up a "the problem is the guys on the field, not the staff on the sideline" defense for at least 3 or 4 games now....

The Bills did not say exactly who was not supposed to still be on the field, and it's difficult to know if the same play was called on the second field goal attempt, but defensive end Leonard Floyd was the only player on the field for the missed kick but not on the field for the winning kick.

So was the DB's laying off receivers by 10 yards strategy that was apparent all night.  Bills DB's have no ball awareness and even when they do (like Rapp on the Denver TD pass in the first half) they are way out of position. All Taron Johnson has to do on that pop fly pass by Wilson at the end is turn around and knock it down. Instead he bumps the Denver player then looks backward. Even high school players have more sense than that! Just bad coaching and clueless players every week!
