Milano, DaQuan and Tre's absence....the 2 things the D lacks without them....

Game changing plays and attitude.

The turnovers have really dried up in the last two games, and that ties directly to the absence of Milano and White.

Plus, Milano would always be the guy to make a big hit that would just fire up the rest of the D....that attitude and energy just seems to have gone off on that injury cart with Milano.

Benford is a good CB2, but without White, he is being asked to be CB1....something he is not quite ready for at this stage in his career.

DaQuan's loss leaves a big hole in the Run D that the Bills just cannot replace.

If the D was at full strength, the Bills would have won the Jags and Pats game, and the Giants game would not have been as close even with the O playing as inconsistent as it is right now.

I hate that these devastating injuries have all but sunk the Bills chances this year....what a waste.

The problem is the offense

I agree - the poor and hapless play on the offense is taking the life out of the team

As I said in my original post the O is playing bad right now, but a full-strength D would have 100% won the Pats game today.

They would have, but that’s not the reality right now. The offense needs to start games better, and give the defense time to make adjustments and personnel decisions instead of letting them get tired out and battered.

Tremendous losses and at the same time your kicker can’t be trusted. 3 makeable missed FGs, and they were huge plays in both games.

And if Bass coverts it, and Diggs makes the catch. It’s a Bass FG to win it at the end. Complimentary Football. Oh and if Allen takes the checkdown to Murray or Kincaid on his first pass.

Agree on above.  But this happens to teams every year, happened to us LY as well.

We just haven't seen this offense get into prolonged ruts like this before.  A quarter maybe, perhaps a half.  But multiple games in a row, that's inexcusable.

And we shouldn't be relying on the defense as much as we needed to.  They bailed us out of Giants game, kept us close in Jax game, but ran out of gas today.

Even with everyone healthy, we aren't going anywhere when we play offense like past few weeks.

The game is all different if Bass makes the FG.That miss  though is concerning because that was a shank that I haven’t seen from Bass. He was the best kicker in the league. I hope he hasn’t lost his confidence.

Looked to me that was the result of a huge wind gust at exactly the wrong time.....just bad luck, IMO.

Not happy to admit I was wrong.  We're not a good defense right now

Or offense for that matter . It really sucks but we have to admit this team is just not very good right now and not really sure how to fix it. The defense we know about the key injuries. But the offense is at full strength and they are just garbage

He didn’t hit that kick with authority and it floated.  Whatever the reason, he missed three crucial kicks in 2 weeks. His misses are killing a team that has small margin for error.

Right. But remember a half a season ago when they had a much bigger margin?

that about sums it up. This team is in deep shyt and we know it.
