TheyCallMeAndy Posted October 24, 2023 Share Posted October 24, 2023 I think something needs to be clarified: Gabe Davis isn’t a #3 WR. That’s a slot our the backup to one of the outside guys. Gabe Davis is a field worthy player, and he’s good at being at the outside. What Davis isn’t good with is being the 2nd read in the progression, especially since he’s better at long developing routes. If Kincaid can become that #2 target that should help with the offense’s effectiveness. Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot talked about it on their podcast today. Say what you want about them but those 2 are pretty dialed in to the Bills. Parrino was ironically talking about a trade with our upcoming opponent involving some kind of combination of Davis, Evans, David & picks.
