Does US NOT want peace in Ukraine?

Recommended Posts

Early in the Russian- Ukraine conflict, Zelensky wanted a peace treaty with its neighbors but was, supposedly, threatened not to do so…

Furthermore, the only reason the war is still going on is because it seems the US and it’s NATO allies keep funding it, to the detriment of the Ukrainian population…

We know the the US government backed a coup in 2014…And then the Biden administration committed an act of war by blowing up Russia’s oil pipeline to Germany…Are we not being told the complete story by government it MSM?

You really believe anything, don't you?

Not anything…But after your government lies to you for years, you tend to be open minded to alternatives…You start wanting to get info from other nation’s perspectives to get a more well rounded vantage point…👍

So you're gonna listen to the failed leftist comedian who was caught taking money from Assad to write pro-Assad articles?

Among those winners is Jimmy Dore, a comedian turned political commentator who was employed by The Young Turks, a progressive video outlet, until April 2019. According to an IRS filing, however, Dore actually began receiving money from the association behind the Serena Shim Award in 2017, receiving $2,500 for what the latter described as “human rights media.”

That same year, Dore would argue that a chemical weapons attack on the opposition-held town of Khan Sheikhun was likely a “false flag,” the bodies of dead children having been planted, perhaps, by extremists (the United Nations has confirmed that the Syrian government, the only party to the conflict known to possess the Sarin and an air force, was responsible).

I'd never heard of this guy until I came to this forum.

His YT is a mountain of doomposting. But you know, since he churns out between 4-6 videos per day, you know everything is thoughtful, impartially researched, carefully considered, and measured in delivery...I almost said that with a straight face.

Early on, the expectation was that Russia would roll Ukraine and decapitate the government within days of launching the war.

In the face of that, it would be understandable for Ukraine to want to broker a peace deal even if they got a bad deal.

Since then, Ukraine has proven effective at combating a Russian army that is weak from corruption and ignorance. Ukraine now hopes to regain all of its territory, not just what has been taken in the last year.

In addition to that, the Russians have been committing atrocities and war crimes. From torture and mass murder in places like Bucha, to beheading POWs and other horrors.

Given that and Russia’s lack of trustworthiness, any peace deal signed now would likely only serve to buy Putin time to reorganize and resupply his forces before violating the deal and continuing his murderous rampage.

So why would Ukraine sue for peace now? And what would we gain by pressuring them to do so? It doesn’t make any sense.

If Ukraine can gain the upper hand with its upcoming advances, it might put itself in a position where Russia will have to listen to its demands. In the meantime, asking for “peace” is really just asking to give Russia more time to organize and kill more people.

He’s been right about the origins of the war starting long before Russia invaded and America’s roll in pushing for a proxy war similar to Korea and Vietnam…

He’s also been right about the Covid Pandemic and how Pfizer and the government lied to the to American people, and paid the MSM to cover it up…

Goose, do you realize that nobody outside of NATO countries believes this?

The world, from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America is against what the US is doing- and they are finally becoming fed up  with American bullying and are forming there own alliances to counter the US…

On top of that, there are grumblings coming from some of our own European Allie’s (France and Germany) that they are not happy with what’s going on…I actually wouldn’t be surprised if some of our allies feel blackmailed or bullied, knowing how our government typically acts around the world…

If you set aside this guy and just read a couple newspapers, even the corrupt party mouthpiece ones buried in the back, it’s obvious Russia and China are diplomatically out-flanking our foreign policy and overtaking some old us alliances at an alarming pace.

The foreign policy landscape change in this administration is the worst in a  long time.

World is on the brink of WW3 and Dopey Biden and his family are in Ireland.  Let’s face it.  As horrible as Demented Biden’s domestic agenda has turned out.  We are on an even worse course internationally.  I’m buying stock in bomb shelters.  Hold that.  I forgot the stock market is a a shambles too.  What a mess.

China maybe, but Russia? What "alliances" are Russia forging? Even China is distancing itself from Putin. The only ones still with them are Iran and North Korea.

So the US/Ukrainian Goal is to go back to pre 2014 (euro maiden) borders?  at least someone is saying what the goal would be.  While the leaked papers showed moves into Russia as part of the offensive, to create a buffer zone the same size as the disputed regions in Ukraine.

Wrong- Russia is actively cozying up to China and China just got France to say Taiwan isn’t their concern after a cozy meeting with Marcone…

don’t any of you pretenders pay attention past the orange man headlines?? Ugh
