The Walls be Closing

So again let's recap for the King and other useful idiots..

1. We have the IC memo, orchestrated by Tony Blinken, that in no uncertain terms states:

we do not have evidence of Russian involvement

2. The subsequent reporting on the memo stating definitively, despite the memo saying no evidence exists, that the laptop contents are in fact Russian disinformation.

So King this leaves you the following options...

A. The reporting by the media at large on the IC memo was accurate.

B. The media at large got the reporting wrong because they didn't want to accurately report on it.

C. The media at large got the story wrong because they were all stupendously incompetent simultaneously.

I guess you're still going with option C then?

The “Hunter Biden Laptop” story received massive coverage *because* it was blocked by Twitter, so that point is completely irrelevant.

As far as its contents implicating Joe Biden, the current news is quite simply “Republican Inquiry Finds No Evidence of Wrongdoing by Biden.”

It's a matter of difference of opinion on what is more likely:

A sinister cabal involving every major media outlet, most of the government and who else knows how many people is secretly working behind the scenes against conservatives or shady seeming stuff being peddled by known liars and grifters seemed like something not worth trusting right out of the bat.

They are not conservatives. They are Trump cult members.

Republicans as we sort of knew them no longer exist.

Conservatives no longer exist within the Trumplican Party.

The king of morality said that if Trump isn’t our next President, bullets will replace ballots.

Does every Trump supporter prefer jail to not sucking off Trump?

And then there's his lovely daughter.

What a great era for America.

Keep an eye on who is being represented by a lawyer paid for by Trump and who isn't.

Even when attorneys are paid by third parties, they are supposed to represent their clients. Here, it seems like they may be working in Trump's best interest to the potential detriment of their ostensible client.

The minute Tavares talked to the public defender, he came clean because it was in his best interest to do so.

Trumpers trying to overthrow American democracy in Wisconsin.

There's no need for separation of powers anymore.

Let's skip some steps and head straight to autocracy.

I don't mind Trumpers wanting to live under a dictorship as long as they do it somewhere else.

It doesn't sound like it. It is.

Trump is easily the biggest mobster in American history.

The Wisconsin election of this judge was very encouraging for 2024. It’s one of the most important swing states, the R’s spent big on her opponent and she won by a wide margin. Don’t see how they can overturn the election but not surprised they’re trying

They probably can until it makes its way through the courts.

The good news is that it makes it more likely for Wisconsin to go Blue in '24.

Trumpers screwed up on abortion. This looks like their next screwup.

Well Mike, It's a little late for candor and honesty but better late than never...and I'm not sure "performative outrage" is going to sway the base.

https://www.axios.com/2023/09/06/pence-trump-populism-speech

"A leading candidate last year called for 'the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution' … while his imitators have a demonstrated willingness to brandish government power to silence critics and impose their will on opponents."

Pence argues that the Republican Party can choose populism or conservatism, but not both, because conservatives embrace checks and balances while populists scorn them.

He also warns that the GOP risks standing for little more than "personal grievances and performative outrage."

What bothers me the most about this is how much mental gymnastics is going on on the right so that these police officers did die specifically on January 6

They died that day. The body just didn’t know it yet.

How many people died at the Capitol on J6?

What did they die of?  A guilty conscience?

Why is it always these Trumpers, often self proclaimed Christian conservatives, who threaten violence or civil war if they don’t get their orange king back on the throne? Huckabee is a Southern Baptist pastor. He should be ashamed of himself for suggesting bullets will be used to decide elections. Im pretty sure that’s not what Jesus would say.
