I can’t remember the reason why there are 2 games on at the same time.

(1 hour difference in starting time)

MNF

I expected 1 East Coast game and 1 West Coast game

I might be wrong, but I think it is to balance out the network broadcast packages the NFL awards. Since ESPN/ABC doesn't get a Week 18 MNF game, they get two Week 2 (used to be Week 1). Just like NBC gets the opening Thursday night game to make up for them not getting one Week 18. But don't quote me on this.

That service doesn’t allow you to see out of market games.

Probably can’t cast as it is for streaming only. I think you can cast the replays of games

It says it allows exclusive access to out-of-market games along with the local broadcast of in market games.

Unless I'm misunderstanding.

Looks like the out-of-market games they mention are any prime time games.

Regular Season and Postseason

With NFL+, you can watch live local and primetime Regular Season and Postseason games on your phone or tablet.

This set of games includes Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video, NBC’s Sunday Night Football, ESPN’s Monday Night Football, games that are broadcast on CBS and FOX in your local TV market, and any game that is broadcast live on NFL Network.

NFL Network games are limited in availability to mobile phones streaming over wireless networks only.

You get the free 7 day trial anyways so I will check it out just to see what it is actually capable of.  If it doesn't have the ability to cast to TV from my phone/tablet then it's pretty much not worth it even if I can get the game I want.

I'll be interested to hear what you find out.

I am assuming you can't cast just because this offering, at least for the local broadcast, sounds exactly like what the NFL app used to give you for free in previous seasons up through last year. I used it on my tablet sometimes to have a second game going and I recall early on trying to cast and it being disabled.

Miami @ Baltimore

what a conundrum

Both teams have a guy getting credit for being “Great and Accurate” passers.

no matter what

the Winner will be deemed a contender

and one may have their HC 👑 a genius for winning his first 2 games.

Week 3 will crush that dream for the 🐬

And the Crows get the Pats* next week

It's so annoying. I mean, it's not super hard to connect the phone or tablet to the TV with and HDMI cord and adapter, but it's just annoying that I have to when other streaming apps seamlessly cast to the TV.

Tin Foil hat

Maybe they want to show how bad they are and we can all laugh?

😝

LAST WEEK

21.3 million with about 2 million being Rams fans. Had we played a team with an actual fan base, that game would have exceeded 25.

I was watching college games on ESPN+ mobile app yesterday and when I tried to connect it to TV with an HDMI adapter it would stop playing and give an error.  Maybe adapter was bad but I assumed it was being intentionally blocked.

I had that happen last year with Sling. (I did a free trial sub so I could get a Bills MNF game.) I could watch on my laptop, but when I attached an HDMI cable it told me I didn't have permission to do that.
