It seems that our identity on offense has changed

Last year we were a team who set up the run with the pass.....we had lots of pre snap movement and deep crossers, fly routs, deep slants etc....gone are those plays since after the kc game....we now are forcing a dink and dunk short passing game and forcing a power run game predominantly out of shotgun lol.....There is no way our recievers and oline have regressed to this extent....this is on daboll imo......maybe im wrong but our entire offense looks very different from last season

"our entire offense looks very different from last season" because there is fans in the stadium & JA has not been the same quarterback with them cheering, scary but true imo

It has nothing to do with fans in the stands. That is the dumbest thing I've heard that keeps getting repeated. He has played with fans his whole football life. Even last year, some of the games had fans. Yes our offense has looked different. Most of it is on Dabol. There is no creativity to this year's plays. We haven't gone back to things that have worked for us like widening out the defense with jet motion and the occasional sweep. We just line up and run plays to a fault. Add to that our Oline is playing worse than last year, example Dawkins and Williams. Guard play was bad last year too.

Identity hasn’t changed.

How teams defend us changed.

Bills did a poor job of anticipating how defenses would respond by not really addressing IOL/RB.

Now we have to make due with what we have, and they clearly haven’t figured out how to react via scheme/personnel.

They found something when fully healthy (Brown RT/Williams RG/Feliciano LG) with Knox developing into a top end TE - but attrition happens, and the depth behind those guys, right now, is about as bad as it gets in the league.

Prior to yesterday's game, weren't we the highest scoring team in the league?  That seems to suggest we were doing something right, in my opinion.

I also think defenses have looked at the tape and have adjusted to what the Bills did well last year, so they've had to change it up a bit.

If nothing has changed then where is the pre snap movement all over the line, where is the extra te to help block, where is the jet sweeps or even trick plays when it sewms we are stuck in quicksand....why is diggs catching so many balls at or behind the los?.....yea we have changed how we set up our offense and it looks like an offense you would run with a weak armed qb ....it looks like an offense catered for a mac jones....it is a west coast offense right now and that is not in anyway what we ran last season

The identity hasn't changed as much as the rest of the league has figured this team out similar to what has happened to the Chiefs and Mahomes. Big difference it only took one season to figure out the Bills vs 3+ against the Chiefs.

And nothing will change with opposing defenses regardless of their talent level, they will keep coming at Allen and attacking a bottom 10 oline while keep safeties deep to prevent the big play.

We can’t push the ball down the field because we can’t run the ball, PA doesn’t fool anyone and Allen has no time.

Sweeney has been bad in his chance to show what he has behind Knox.   The offense with Knox, at least showed signs of explosiveness… Sweeney is a major liability out there.

Not sure what to make of the lack of McKenzie, but right now, any jet sweep to McKenzie probably results in a 5-8 yard loss.

You dont think teams kept safeties deep last season against us?.....you dont think teams tried to take away our deep passing?....you think teams respected our run last season thus opening up our deep middle of the field?....bull#### they knew what we were gonna do and they still couldnt stop us.....this year we are not calling the same plays
