In defense of GOP presidents, they like to leave the economy in shambles on the way out of the office, which allows Dems to run up the score.

This economy is hurting everyone below the investor class, for the investor class

the metric is call labor participation rate. You won’t believe it from me but look it up. It tells the story

REMINDER:

How Americans have taken a pay cut every month since Biden took office.

“For the typical family with two parents working, their combined weekly paychecks are up about $200, but that money has lost so much purchasing power from inflation that it’s as if their weekly pay has shrunk by more than $100.”

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, average weekly earnings are up 9% since Biden took office, but consumer prices have risen 14.9% over that same time.

The result is that real earnings (meaning earnings adjusted for inflation) are down 5.1% under Biden.

If the pain is to end, the spending must be reined in.

The Federal Reserve simply created the money for the government to spend, and that devalued the dollar with four-decade-high inflation, according to statistics.

Christopher Sadowski

That is why McCarthy’s fight over the debt ceiling is so crucial.

If they don’t, the spending sprees will continue, and so will the pain, as the government borrows into oblivion.

March payrolls revised from 236K to 165K.

Just as the current guesses will be revised

January (minus 32K) and February (minus 78K) also revised lower along with March (minus 71K).  But the interesting story is the actual jobs number has exceeded the consensus estimate for 13 straight months.  That's a statistical outlier equivalent of going to the casino and leaving a winner 13 straight visits or flipping a coin and having it come up heads every time.

You think a 1 in 10k shot is unlikely for this brand of incompetence? These guys are the elite liars, just ignore the numbers that don't work.

April job growth numbers exceed expectations as previous months are quietly LOWERED

Like the rule of first impressions, most people remember initial inaccurate news stories but nothing about corrections or retractions and certainly nobody pays attention to downward adjustments in previous month's BLS job numbers.

Of course I do and I’m hiring. Care to get off your ass and welfare and do some work for a change? Send me a resume.

I have to warn you though, we have a lot of diversity here, it might make you uncomfortable.

Bull! You are sitting there spending your government money and calling mommy for more cash to buy lottery tickets. Hey! Maybe the next one will be the big winner!

Good deflection. I figured the idea of work would trigger the projection.  As you were.

please send a picture for the fridge so we can appreciate the deadbeats we sponsor with a third of our income.

let me know if you change your mind. I don’t have anything in my group, it’s a little out of you depth, but there is a warehouse coordinator job that looks more your speed - I can make some calls. Let me know.
