Huh. Seems bad.

Quote

The nine-page document, filed in federal court Wednesday, lays out a plan to fill buildings “with patriots and communicate our demands." It's stated goals include maintaining control "over a select few, but crucial buildings in the DC area for a set period of time" and getting as "many people as possible inside these buildings."

Quote

When it's time for "patriots" to storm the buildings, individuals might have to cause "trouble near the front doors to distract guards," the plan states. "The goal is to ensure there is an entry point for the masses to rush the building."

Pretty easy case. Trump raised $250 million for a fund that didn't exist, lol

Lock that scumbag up!!

If you’re willing to lock a politician up because he gave people a tour of the Capitol, you’re going to lock up a lot of politicians.

I may be missing some/any of the evidence pointing to criminal behavior, but beyond giving a tour in unrestricted areas, in full view of security cameras…is there something else the tweeter chose not to reveal?  Direct connection to those charged with sedition?  The names of the individuals who received the tours, their current status?  Has law enforcement charged him with a crime, or is there an ongoing criminal probe directed at him?

I googled “Loudermilk Criminal Probe” and a couple other terms but wasn’t able to find anything beyond this commentary from the, uh, Capitol Police:

When you wonder why precious few applaud the political theater of the 1/6 committee, it’s things like this.

Lord have mercy. What I really think, in my heart of hearts, is that on 1/6 there were in attendance some serious rabble rousers who felt justified and emboldened and  goaded BY Donald Trump to breach the capitol. I don't think every person who entered the capital did so with the thought of insurrection. Maybe for them it was a moment in time they took advantage of, to be part of their righteous indignation they felt at the loss of their candidate for president. Crowd mentality. What the really bad actors intended that day Thank Goodness they weren't able to achieve. It could have been so much worse. When it was happening in real time I was waiting for the bomb sniffing dogs to be deployed. Who knew what anyone was bringing into the capital. Poorly planned at the very least, Plans foiled maybe. *shrugs* all in all an ugly eevent in our nations history.

No one brought any firearms into the Capitol, which is what it would taken at least to have any sort of effect.  Plans weren't foiled: there weren't any plans once they got inside.

Yeah - just your average tourist outing.

We now know what the man in the January 6 Committee video filmed in the stairwell.

As we told you yesterday, the January 6 Committee released a video showing a man allegedly on a tour led by George GOP Rep. Barry Loudermilk, where he “photographed/recorded areas not typically of interest to tourists: hallways, staircases and security checkpoints.”

ICYMI, here’s that video again:

Later on in the day, Rep. Loudermilk said the man was taking a photo of a “golden eagle sconce” on the wall:

And here’s the sconce. Pretty cool, right? Like, it IS something you’d take a photo of if you’re touring the Capitol:

Unbelievable. Why should we trust a single thing released by the committee? Think about it, a group made up of congressmen and their staffers didn’t bother to even check what might be in that stairwell before smearing an American citizen:

And journos went along with it.

And the Capitol Police, FBI, DOJ etc haven’t picked up on it yet?   Did you try emailing them directly…maybe give them your pager number?

Seriously, you have to have more than this.

You wouldn't care if he was trying to do. You guys want to tear down our constitutional republic and could care less what these animals are doing

It was an ugly day in our history to be sure. Law enforcement should punish wrongdoers, the guilty pursued, and the lack of security addressed with transparency.

I have zero faith in the transparency leg, which taints pretty much everything else.

That sconce was the key to it all!
