Does this say White is the least targeted CB in the NFL as a percentage of throws against a defense?

Basically, yes.

For S&G, I did a deep(er) dive into these and other metrics. Re (best piece) imo: https://distinctathlete.com/2020/11/25/opinion-a-quarterback-metric-amalgamation-for-your-consideration-when-evaluating-josh-allen/

My analytic (ha ha) results:

1. The stat/metric geeks are controlling our lives, will obliterate our love of pure football, and will almost certainly destroy our American way of life.

2. That said, Tre is having an amazing year. Fewest targets (on "average") and, when targeted, gives up low completion rate. Separated only by a few percentage points from the "best". Remember kids, scale of a graph is enormously important.

3. A bit o/t, but JA is having an absolutely great year--not the best--based on the average of the average (etc) of all the genius metrics.

I'm exhausted. Need a drink.

God we like grasping at straws. This team doesn’t need bulletin board material. They don’t have trap games. We don’t need a dome. We can play in less than perfect weather. We are better in the third quarter. We have improved running the ball and stopping the run. We can survive without John Brown (yes we are better with him).

We have one of the most talented and well coached teams in the league. We don’t need anything other than to stay healthy and execute at the level we are capable of. Doesn’t mean we will win the Super Bowl but we have the team to make a run this season.

It is pretty obvious that it’s just men thumbing their nose at each other, ya know, ball busting as it were, it’s a man macho thing, so we are just kinda running with it spoofing on the whole thing... get it? 😁👍, after all its a gladiator sport...

Go Bills!!!

From Drew Lock:

“He’s an extremely talented corner, but it’s not going to be something that scares you off of a throw or scares you off of a matchup,” added Lock. “If my read takes me to him, and I need to throw the ball, there will be no second-guess about throwing it.”’

I support this message. Throw at him all day Drew.

How can White be part of a good defense whilst Wallace is part of a poor defense?

Beerball: good, straightforward question, but that's not exactly what the analytic/metric graph represents.

I won't detail it here (see above), but the CPOE/Target graph is not, per se, a team defense indicator. A wee bit, but not exactly.

Thus spake DSK, Newly Minted, Still Somewhat Confused, PhD (Analytics).

I'm having trouble trying to find something in his statement that constitutes" bulletin board" material.

If your QB doesn't have confidence you don't have a QB. I don't expect Lock to target Tre but he does get beat on occasion. Hail Murray comes to mind.
