You have to give him credit, Judge Sullivan was substantially committed to ruining the man’s life.  Finally, closure on some level.

Flynn controlled what Flynn did, including admitting to the charges 3 times now.  He has no one to blame but himself.

That's hogwash.  Complete poppycock.

When faced with being steamrolled by an adversary with unlimited resources and the power to crush you and anyone around you love, decisions have to be made.  When the government case unravelled--as it did, it was certainly possible for even the most well-intentioned judge to follow the recommendations of the justice department.

Well, he could have avoided all this by not lying.  If he really did nothing, he shouldn't have accepted the pardon.  The man has no honor.

Et tu, Mikey?

You lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

What I wonder is: Which single religion is Flynn advocating for America?

I am partial to Zoroastrianism. Let’s bring back a classic.

I guess he gave up defending the Constitution about the same time he abandoned truth.

Seeing we understand what the Freedom from Religion was all about (and keeping religion out of schools ISN'T it) of course we have a problem with this.

Guess @B-Man missed a news story about one of his heroes going batshit crazy. Usually he’s so even handed.

I find it futile to engage in topics related to law-and-order with the authoritarian left.  If its a political opponent then maximum sentences, automatic assumptions of guilt, and showing no mercy applies.  But if it applies to popular positions like de-fund the police, looting is a form of reparations, no bail for crimes, lenient prosecutors refusing to prosecute violent criminals, drug infested encampments on city streets, eliminate prisons, events like CHAZ, and so on then they're all on board with ignoring or breaking the law or giving criminals a pass to go out and commit more crimes.  Because political opponents are dangerous criminals and economic or social criminals are victims.

It's not like we recently had a president use law enforcement to clear peaceful protestors for an unnecessary photo op with generals.

And it's not like plenty of Republican states support mandatory sentencing like three strikes laws:

Arkansas (since 1995);

Arizona (since 2005);

California (since 1994);

Colorado (since 1994);

Connecticut (since 1994);

Delaware (since 1973);

Florida (since 1995);

Georgia (since 1994);

Indiana (since 1994);

Kansas (since 1994);

Louisiana (since 1994);

Maryland (since 1975 but amended in 1994);

Massachusetts (since 2012);

Montana (since 1995);

Nevada (since 1995);

New Jersey (since 1995);

New Mexico (since 1994);

New York (since 1797);

North Carolina (since 1994);

North Dakota (since 1995);

Pennsylvania (since 1995);

South Carolina (since 1995);

Tennessee (since 1994);

Texas (since 1952);

Utah (since 1995);

Vermont (since 1995);

Virginia (since 1994);

Washington (since 1993); and

Wisconsin (since 1994).

Enjoy your high horse.

I left you off my post because I assumed you must be crazy busy with the pretend moderator gig!   I was trying to be nice knowing how hectic it can be to issue pretend bans and pretend warning points, and this is the pretend thanks I get!

@John Adams , Tibs nefarious action of changing another poster’s text is a clear violation of TOS and probably violates the spirit of The  Hague Convention of 19ought7  and is in conflict with the Paris Climate Accord.
