You’ve defended a sex trafficker.

Trumps non-for-profit has had written confessions to improper expenditures.

Now another Trump Org had tax evasion charges.

This is in addition to a campaign manager in jail for tax evasion, another campaign manager going to jail for terrible things, the personal attorney going to jail for illegal activity, the well you get the point.

Make jokes all you want with gifs. You’re the one defending people who have done terrible things and the only reason you defend them is because they have a (R) next to their name.

So yea. I don’t know. You do you! Defend the sex traffickers more if that’s what makes you feel good! Justify rich people evading taxes! You do you!

It’s just that sometimes you’re having dialogue with yourself, and other times your posts remind me of something White Goodman would say in Dodgeball.   The former is boring, but in fairness the latter kind of funny.

Gaetz was charged with sex trafficking?

Back in da dizzay is slightly off the rails tonight.  He’s yammering on (mostly to himself), apparently missed the Spitzer resignation and has all sorts a Matt Gaetz on his mind.  I think he’s a fan.

We’re using S

Leh-Nerds definition of guilty:

“Democrat Governor on NY runs a prostitution game from the state capitol where he participates in sex trafficking and all that comes with it, no charges filed. “

More proof against Gaetz than this. It’s hard in the US with standard of

proof. We have actual law and then we have crazy Republican law. So I was applying crazy Republican law standard of evidence to Gaetz.

Settle down Captain Threadnanny.

I’ll proceed as I see fit, and we both know this to be true.

To “threadnanny” this thread, if you’re just jumping on. A summary of what’s happened:

- Trumps charity was previously found to illegally co-mingle non-for-profit funds with personal to buy tacky things like Tim Tebow swag.

- Trump’s campaign manager, personal attorney, second campaign manager, and several other key campaign people go to jail.

- Trump paid off a porn star he had sex with while married to keep his affair secret. He paid her with possible campaign funds or may have room deductions for paying off a mistress

- NY starts to investigate more into the Trump hemisphere

- Were 1 month into a 6 month grand jury

- After 1 month we already have indictments against the Trump Org and the Trump Org CFO

- The indictments were not solely for fringe benefits (which led to close to $2 million of unreported income) but also things like the CFO lying about his residency

- We have 5 months left in the grand jury

Trump seemingly acknowledges facts of prosecutors' case against Trump Organization while criticizing charges over 'fringe benefits'

Trump told a crowd in Sarasota, Florida, on Saturday night that "every company" does "fringe benefits," but he mocked prosecutors for pursuing the charges, saying it is "reminiscent of a communist dictatorship targeting your political opponents." The comments mark the former President's most substantial yet on the charges after they were unsealed last week in the first criminal case against his namesake company.

"Never before has New York City and their prosecutors or perhaps any prosecutors criminally charged a company or a person for fringe benefits," Trump said. "Fringe benefits. Murders, OK; human trafficking, no problem. But fringe benefits, you can't do that."

He's right.  Every company does the same thing.  Except none of them get investigated, much less charged, for it.

But hey, good on Cy.  After millions of taxpayer dollars were spent (wasted), he got Trump('s organization) for something.

Interesting commentary from Andrew Weissman, the lead prosecutor on the Mueller probe.

Weissman is an acknowledged Trump hater that spent over a year of his life proving absolutely nothing about the Trump campaign and Russian collusion.  Mainly because the relationship between the campaign and the foreign government was non-existent.  But then again they knew that from the beginning.  And in the process he received some nice fat government checks via the taxpayer during this investigation.  So the guys clearly got an ax to grind.

While I'm not a big Trump fan I am still in awe and amazement of how people can "root" for the government when it comes to anything.  And its mostly liberals that seem to get off on displays of government power against private citizens.  Traditional liberals used to distrust and dislike the "establishment".  I guess its a case now that they are the establishment and absolute power corrupts absolutely and your principals and ethics go out the window.  That they still seem to believe they hold the moral high ground is testimony to the extent of their delusions.

Trump must be extremely clean if this is all the NY prosecutors came up with

American Thinker, by Jack Hellner

After years of prosecutors targeting Trump in search of a crime, Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg “surrendered early Thursday to New York authorities for arraignment in the first criminal indictment arising from a two-year investigation into the former president’s company,” according to the AP.

The charges relate to paying perks for executives without showing those perks on their W-2 forms, and paying income taxes and payroll taxes on those perks.

Extremely clean, everyone...

Anyhow:
