For reelection purposes? <_< Uh huh. I'd love to know what these people think was going to happen when the Democrats turned up with a poisoned bill instead of passing the bi-partisan relief package they spent the weekend working on?

Parts of it. Why?

Because what is being reported is overblown.

You're posting this article to form an opinion rather than reading the actual interview.

The left is trying to get Fauci and Trump off the air as quickly as possible. Many of the usual leftwing talking heads -- Maddow, etc. -- have been arguing that the nation needs to stop getting WH updates and the media needs to stop letting the WH talk to the country.

If they can't expedite the deaths of millions, they certainly want to shut up the people trying to help.

Besides...the left knows how to fix this problem: pass the New Green Deal! They can't do that if Trump is keep showing up with briefings!

We are talking about revolving door Trump, you know. Would not surprise me at all if he fired the guy for not being a "Trump Guy"

You disagree, fine. No biggie

Sorry Ditz, don't usually respond to you, but I want Trump on TV all the time trying to talk. Biden won't need to even campaign if Trump keeps being on TV

You type that as if @Tiberius has ever done anything here beyond copy/paste here what he's told to copy/paste.

He doesn't read the stuff he posts. He can barely type a full sentence without spotting him a Ctrl button and the letters C and V.

He posts left-wing garbage to get paid. That's his job.

Quote

Michael Levitt, a Nobel laureate and Stanford biophysicist, began analyzing the number of COVID-19 cases worldwide in January and correctly calculated that China would get through the worst of its coronavirus outbreak long before many health experts had predicted.

Now he foresees a similar outcome in the United States and the rest of the world.

While many epidemiologists are warning of months, or even years, of massive social disruption and millions of deaths, Levitt says the data simply don't support such a dire scenario — especially in areas where reasonable social distancing measures are in place.

"What we need is to control the panic," he said. In the grand scheme, "we're going to be fine."

What are the rules on employers for situations that Covid will likely present for awhile? Should they notify all people exposed when and employee goes to get tested? What if he/she tested positive? Do you notify everyone in contact? Quarantine them all?

Does HIPPA hinder this?

2020 Tokyo Olympics Will Be Postponed Due to Coronavirus, Says IOC's Dick Pound

The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo will be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, likely until 2021, International Olympic Committee member Dick Pound told Christine Brennan of USA Today.

"On the basis of the information the IOC has, postponement has been decided," Pound said. "The parameters going forward have not been determined, but the Games are not going to start on July 24, that much I know."
