Miss out on the whole LBJ /Nixon thing?

I never had sexual relations with that woman ...

It's been going on a lot longer than since W.  Probably since W(ashington).

I could be wrong but I think his reference to GW was George Washington.

Don't argue a point and then when you see you are losing, claim you are just presenting someone else's point. This isn't the first time you've done this and it won't work here. When you get cut you're supposed to bleed...…………………………………...profusely.

Again, I am not losing, I am not upset.

I am laying out why Pelosi said he lied to Congress so dolts like you who have blinders on can understand the argument..plain and simple.

what part of this statement did not resonate with you or did you not understand?

but to me i think it clear he lied

As I have said 1000X, if I was the Dems I would drop the whole thing and let Trump try to run on his record, not as the "Liberal scum is out to get me, and you" which is the narrative he gets to keep pushing while this crap all plays out.

Weird trying to quote your post. I hope you're not infecting my computer.

The idea of focusing on Trump's record can easily be turned around by responding that his record would likely be a helluva lot different if he wasn't de-legitimized for the past 2.5 years.  It wasn't only liberal scum out to get him, it was mostly everyone, and he still got some things accomplished.  You can't easily separate Trump's accomplishments from the fact that there's been an all-consuming distraction since his election.

I understand the argument fully. Your TDS is strong within you and you have gotten to the point in this argument where you start calling me names. When you run out of ammunition it does you little good to throw your gun at me.

I am getting all you Trump guys infected?

and I get that is how he will run..economy is humming, deep state was out to get me ...and the Dems just keep playing into the narrative the more they keep this in the news.

Let it die, Trump will do something crazy by next week that then takes center stage, and prolly 50 things before Novemeber 20..but they keep pushing this and it is  keeping that narrative center stage

Whose reading comprehension is in question now? I never called you "Yesbut". I said for you to not be a "Yesbut". Regardless in one of these threads here I explained to you why Barr was not lying and you have not responded. Your continued silence makes me believe that you most likely agree with my superior opinion and just don't want to admit it. :D

A family member told me one day "Its not about the wild things he says, it's about the truth he speaks.".

Border security.

NATO.

Russian investigation is bs.

Obama spying.

The demise of the American economy was greatly exaggerated.

DOJ  corruption.

Socialism eventually equals Venezuela today.

Russian sanctions.

Jobs. Jobs. Jobs.

American exceptionalism.

As for the deep state, please humor me one more time.

I see the DOJ and IC community targeting Trump, under the leadeship of Obama, while not notifying Trump of the witc---investigation in one of two ways:

They really thought DJT was a Russian asset and that key members of his inner circle were Russian assets as well.  They  considered options, all on the table, and plowed ahead to save the American people from DJT and they were wrong across the board.

That speaks to incompetence.

Option 2: it was a coup attempt.

In option one, they are bumbling fools, and that's pretty frightening.  They targeted the wrong guy, they tripped over their own d××××,and all the dem pols were caught up up in the incompetence.

I discard that because they all continue to  cling to the narrative.

Option 2 seems much more likely. That =deep state or whatever else you want to call it. Bad people doing bad things. Treasonous dirtbags. Whatever.

What am I missing from your perspective?

What is abundantly clear is that Barr is a political ally of the president.  The best that can be said about Barr's testimony is, if he didn't lie, he was certainly intentionally misleading.  He could have been much more forthcoming regarding his interactions with Mueller if his goal was to be totally transparent.  It appears to me that Barr wanted to maintain Trump's narrative of 'No Collusion, No Obstruction' for as long as possible for Trump's political benefit.

It was also very telling when he said 'WE did not waive executive privilege'.  He sees himself as the the President's lawyer and protector.  Trump finally has his Roy Cohn.

The best part of his testimony, the only part which mattered, was this:

"We now know he was being falsely accused"

Funny you don't want to talk about this, but rather focus on the parsing of the words about a summary of the report. One would think the actual report would be more interesting/important considering the past three years.

He was there to talk about the report... which is out and anyone can read. It's funny you only want to focus on the summary and Mueller's complaint he didn't release enough information, when the entire report is out.

It's almost like you don't want to talk about the real issues, and instead want to double down on the "BUT RUSSIA!" lie which you've bought hook line and sinker.

Thinking for yourself is hard at times, but it's something you should try.

It's not a narrative. It's a fact there was no collusion or conspiracy or obstruction. It's settled, over, done.

@leh-nerd skin-erd, not the right thread for this, but here is my take on top 3

Border security...is absolutely worse under Trump, and getter "worser".and he had both the House and Senate for two years.

Russian Investigation. As of now, I think most people assume it was a valid investigation, and it is time for it go away, he was not found to have conspired with the Russians. Now I know @Deranged Rhino going to jump all over my sweet behind and say..."its coming, the BS part is coming"..but as of right now, it is not out there

Nato?? Outside of getting more money..how are we somehow better? On this I am confused.

@leh-nerd skin-erd, we actually will agree on jobs and the economy. Ya can't argue the economy is not great right now...it is. One can argue the reasons, growing deficits, but not the actual numbers.

In terms of the deep state..I will put it this way. Before I started coming regularly to this board I would have said "a bunch of hooey all this stuff about the investigation was started illegally" etc. But @Deranged Rhino has flipped me on that, and I do believe there were abuses there. And if there were, we need to know about them so they do not happen again, no matter who is elected.

Having said that, I do not believe the vast majority of the American voting public believes that to be the case as of right nowt. That may change.

And I would not call it "deep state" i would call it for what it was..corrupt politicians/law enforcement.
