Do you have to deal with dirtbags?

The wife was in bed with me last night and the subject went to her sister.  MY SIL has been saddled to her dirtbag inlaws for many years for a variety of reasons which I am not free to name here.  It made me angry then sad to hear the latest saga as to how her inlaws are sticking it to her.  I know that dirtbags don't give a darn as to their conduct but when it is so outrageous and affects so many it is amazing that they have not been run out of town.  My SIL is not perfect but it's a good thing that I don't live in that town because there would be definite pushback.

you can't strut in here, hint at a potentially awesome story, and just leave us hanging.  we need some facts.

It is an awesome story but I don't want any blowback for the SIL.  I'll brainstorm to see if I can figure out how to drop some tasty morsels.  Right now I am a little overwhelmed with anger.

Probably because it happens to a fair number of people I will say that it involves money, theft, and promises broken.  Hubby has been out of the picture for a while now playing sperm donor for wayward whores.

My inlaws ( I call them the outlaws) suck.  So I have disassociated myself from dealing with them.  At this point, I only see them 4 days a year (Xmas, my kids bdays and once in the summer).   I can be civil in conversation for 4 days.

Dear Penthouse,

I was in bed with my wife last night discussing her sister.........

I have to be very careful as to what I say but I will note that the SIL is an honorable woman just so there is no misunderstanding and somebody unanticipated storms onto this thread.

Maybe you can get a reality TV series out of this.  ?

All I am looking to do is commiserate and perhaps give SIL some useful advice based on other people's experience in a similar situation.

  Dirtbag?  That's not possible.

My two sisters in law....woah baby!  Dirtbag extraordinaires!!!!  Oh, the stories I could tell.  I found out a few years ago that my wife had been paying for one of their cell phone bills ($150/month) for over a year without telling me.  Was using her credit card.  I put that thing to bed quickly.  She is on welfare and food stamps, and yet they both have the newest iphones.  Pisses me off.

Other than that I work in public education.  Have to interact with dirtbags every single freaking day.

you'd be surprised!

i'm actually extremely lucky when it comes to the in laws.  when they're in town, i even tend to spend more time with them than my own family.  hell, my sister in law married a wealthy guy who recently gave me a rolex as a thank you.

Yes, we all know she married Mark Stone.

Anyway, back to the pillow talk.
