I agree 11-1 in the American is not superior to 10-2 in SEC but to tell an undefeated in 2018 when the talent is so wide spread around college football they do not belong is absurd. I will state this-a small win over a lesser opponent should still be looked at as superior as a small loss to a great team. I have been to Gator games when they won titles, FSU games when they won titles, Syracuse games when they were top 10 and UCF games the past two years-the best offense I have watched regularly without a doubt is UCF. They can hit you in more ways with more speed than anyone else I have ever seen besides Nebraska with Tommy Frazier. But please tell me why why Auburn was pumped so highly for that POS bowl game yesterday when last year they could not get up for a bowl game in their proverbial backyard against a UCF team who was undefeated? oh bad coaching-and I always thought coaching was part of football. But on seperate note- in 2010 the Oregon Ducks were in the title game despite only beating one ranked team all year-in fact the second best record team they faced was 8-5 in a pathetic PAC 12- so why were they #1 and UCF not top 4 when being undefeated last year and beating 3 top 25 teams in regular season? I know I am all over the place but I am done with this conversation because I think I proved my point- every argument goes back to who they played not how they played. Lastly if they lose to LSU this week I will be sad and state they did not belong in title game but if they win-back to back titles. Someone has to beat them to make them not Champs. Anyone who loves sports believes you play to win the game and whether by 1 or 80 if you always win you are champs.

Orlando Tim
LSU beat UCF and was the better team today. I give them credit that they knew how to challenge and stop Mack who looked every bit the freshman starting his third game. I am happy with UCF as they kept fighting even after making so many mistakes. I though must be satisfied that the NCAA recognizes their title last year. I don’t have a clue what you inferred there... I had nothing to pinpoint on your comment.... My second comment there meant I don’t blame Bama for a cakewalk win, I wish it was a good game they had to play.... Based on the strength of their opponents I agree. Clemson doesn't play anybody but they are stacked with talent and can win on the 7th. To each fan it’s a mix of what you watch and read up on and cheer for, reputation of the last 100 and the last 2 years adds in. there is no way to argue that a team running the table in the SEC the last few years could possibly sink below 2nd, at the worst, Auburn was pegged third more than a few years ago years ago based on history. The Clemson machine has earned the benefit of the doubt recently to me, it’s mostly about the coach in college sports these days anyways. Ohio State played poorly in more than a few games this year, rhe suspension and dark cloud also bit on the Buckeyes, fair enough
Orlando Tim
This year i think Bama and Clemson are right now playing much better than everyine else and absolutely earned the shot at the title. YoloinOhio
Imo the targeting rule needs overhauled. There needs to be separate categories for targeting with intent and non- intent. To me it is obvious when each occur. Non-intent should be a 15 yard penalty but no ejection. Intent should be ejection.

This hit was the textbook example for bye-bye, from Opening Night... ------------------- it's interesting how the secondary in college has adapted to the 15-yard max PI call and takes out the receiver gladly on 40 yard routes, saw it more than usual during this bowl run. IMO, the one thing the CFB playoffs has spot lighted is that 2-3 teams every year separate themselves from the rest of the programs. Note, this was the same way pre-CFB playoffs, but the playoffs have made it more visible. So instead of accepting reality, the current cry is to expand the playoffs. Yet, nobody can give a logical rationale why including even weaker teams will fix the problem.
