It was never in doubt

and the Irish aren’t really a good tram

and it was the backup QB for the Irish

:lol::lol: That Irish defense is legit bruh. Now with Ian Book at QB they have actual chance to win against any team they play. This isn't the Irish teams of season's past for sure. They put 4 more quarters together and they have their chance to show everyone which is what they've been working for.

We need more teams like Michigan being ranked ahead of a team that hasn't lost in 2 years.  Because$$$$$$$$$.

UCF would get mopped by Clemson or Alabama or Oklahoma or Ohio St. or Notre Dame. We will never know because of their weak schedule, but it wouldn't be close imo.

Weak schedule like Citadel?

If you want to mop them you have to play them.  Auburn was favored by 10 in the Peach Bowl IIRC.  But this year it's different.

Every team plays a team or two that is not up to their level talent wise. Alabama also plays an SEC Conference schedule. UCF would lose at least 4 times in the SEC alone. They are not a power house by any means. Are they a good story? Sure. To think they could make noise in the playoff or against any of the other top 8 teams is laughable to me.

They got to play one in a bowl game last year.  Otherwise we'll never know because of compelling match ups like Bama/ La Lafayette, or ND Ball State.
