Such garbage. Nathan Peterman wasn't benched. The national media is a joke with this garbage.  Peterman played last week because Allen got hurt and Anderson got hurt and Barkley just got here. They act like the Bills intended to start Peterman the rest of the year. All these quarterbacks are playing just until Allen is healthy.

Oh, You didn’t watch the preseason? He won the completion. And it wasn’t a race to the bottom. He played really well. In fairness, most fans don’t watch the preseason though.

I saw every game. Based on that, yeah I get it. But what is missed is that you had two non-starting--career backup QBs--competing for the job. The point is, neither should have been competing for it.

We knew Allen would not be ready, but again, because there was no real starter on the roster, he was forced in when the real bullets started flying. So, no real starter, no viable plan to let your new toy learn, throw in the injuries, and you have the mess we have now

No idea how the Bills can expect anyone but the most hardcore to watch this game.

It's week 10 and this team is completely unwatchable.

I'd love to hear the last time a team had to start two QBs in the same year after they'd been on the roster less than two weeks.

It is the Jets. They can't score either. You watch because we might win.

It’s pretty clear they knew this year was a wash. Absent a trade, how do you get starter quality to come when they know they are just a place holder for Allen?

Free agency takes place before the draft...

Barkley doesn’t have any glaring deficiencies. He also was an excellent college qb at one point at a big time program. There really is no reason for him to be bad. Maybe he just needed some time to adjust to the nfl game and a shot. Who knows? Maybe he will play well. You never know.

No deficiencies?

His last regular season start came on Jan. 1st, 2017 when he started for the Bears against the Vikings. He went 10-14 for 125 yards with two interceptions. He also lost a fumble in a 38-10 loss.

His arm is terrible.

He was a 4th round pick because he's got a noodle arm.

Well I hope they win and the young guys and Pryor play well.

I hope they lose on a last second field goal.

Winning does nothing to help this team long term.

You mean to say we may see 30 completions for a 100 yards tomorrow?  I cant wait to watch the check down fest

Thats true, but it’s a little beside the point. They had traded taylor (right?). They knew going it was QB or bust. I’m guessing every FA and their agent knew this too. I’m a nobody fan and I knew it.

Fair enough.

Everyone knew the Jets were picking a QB and had Josh McCown and they were still able to get Teddy Bridgewater.

I think a strong argument can be made that the Bills have mismanaged their QBs this year more than any team in 20 years.

No team I can ever remember has starter two QBs who they signed only 1-2 weeks prior to them playing.

It's so good to see that McDermott managed the quarterback situation so well this year

Right, McDermott traded McCarron, he injured Allen, he concussed Anderson, he made certain the offensive line was incapable of protecting any quarterback, he fixed the elections, .......
