This team is bad , and shouldnone should be let go for this , basically not scoring a touchdown in 3 games is somthing that needs to be fixed ASAP

How do you get a playoff team to this .. very sad very typical of this front office

change before you start to lose support

You can't keep changing the head coach or gm every two or three years.  Every week we have this over reaction.  This year will be hard to deal with, but hopefully it will pay dividends in the years to come.

Keep in mind a handful of geniuses on this board called for the head of Tyrod because he wasn't winning games the "right way" by not throwing for 300 yards.  If we had his skill set of mobility and ball protection this year, we may have 5 wins.

Again, this year was for Allen and Allen alone. No reason we can't build the offense in the offseason.

That’s only a strategy if you want to ruin your franchise QB. There is nothing he can learn from playing behind a oline that can’t block and WRs that can’t get separation. They have very few players that could be backups on other offences.

Did it really matter if Fisher and Fox got the third year. You knew they were bad coaches in year one. The easiest way to know you have a bad coach is because they don’t know how to run an offence. McD seems like and amazing DC but has proven he can’t create a successful NFL offence. Giving him another year won’t change that.

I'm on board with letting someone go, the OC isn't very innovative, really we're rushing the football down 31-3? Then some terrible reverse? I don't think Daboll is what we need here and Castillo as OL coach can go as well. The way Benjamin plays is awful, I was hoping he'd be traded. Peterman shouldn't be on this roster by next week, he isn;t even worthy of a 3rd strign backup role all my opinions.

I fail to see how anyone can truly think this staff can build an offense.

And I absolutely would not start Allen again this year!  How is he supposed to develop in this ***** show of an offense?  Best case scenario is he gets another injury.  Worst case is his confidence is shot and he reverts to every bad habit he's ever had while running for his life.

The problem isn't firing the coach every 3 years, it's constantly hiring the wrong coaches.

McDermott has proven to be completely incompetent as a head coach on the offensive side of the ball.

That's not going to miraculously change next year...

I would argue that they haven't tried yet. Like REALLY tried.

That's what you hope. Whether or not it happens remains to be seen.

The state of the offense suggests that it's years away from being competent.

You can argue that we need new starters at least 9 new starters. That's not happening in one year.

Time will tell!

This is the key.

Stability/consistency is only helpful if the people you keep in place are competent.

If they aren't, you end up with the Marvin Lewis Effect in Cincinnati, and no one wants that.

I agree, I don’t want Allen back out there. They will ruin him by playing him with this roster. I am usually of the mindset of having a rookie QB learn by throwing him in there, but this is a special case. There is nothing to learn by playing with these guys.

It may if we shore up the offensive line. Get better receivers and drop Peterman.  Keep in mind that this management team had severe financial restrictions placed on them, so they were limited on who they could sign.

What does this even mean?

#wordsalad

I rephrased your sentence to be more appropriate because you made an analogy that we want a new toy, and I think a 2 year old analogy is more fitting to having methhead parents ruining your favor toy.

I'll explain what this means if you think it's more word salad. I'll try my best to get you to understand wit.
