He held out for his market value, and then he came back and played even though the team refused to pay him what everyone knows he is worth and they wouldn't trade him.

It is too bad for him that he got hurt, and it's good that he kept his commitment to play. However, the team never intended to pay him, and now they have no reason to. It's dirty.

The team wanted to pay him what THEY thought he was worth.  He said no.  He got hurt.  He gets nothing.  His fault.

Next time someone acts like holding out isn't a risk, look at Earl Thomas.

They underpaid, he asked for a trade, the jerked him around for an entire offseason. Now he's hurt and they will get nothing for him. Lose-lose.

And if he signed, they'd have an injured old player sucking money.  They win.  He loses.

The same titans that served up what, 6 points last week?

Actually it was 9. It was also the Jags defense and divisional. The Jags and Bills aren’t exactly apples to apples. Tennessee added pieces to a playoff team, Buffalo did some subtracting. Vegas probably has the Bills as home dog. Any Given Sunday

No it was 6.  They beat the Jags by scoring 9.

Your right I misread it. I still think a there is way too much baggage from the Throwback for some people to see the forrest.

The best thing going for the Bills is that the Titans have played two huge games back to back

forearm was down. Viewers didn’t get this replay view on the broadcast. Just get the first down and don’t leave it up to the official. Also the raiders missed two kicks, they are lucky they were still in it.

How about the sack fumble for a TD that Carr was ruled down literally as soon as he was touched, even though the ball came out right away?

That call was so insane.  He literally fumbled simultaneously to getting hit.

and yet Allen can fumble a ball minutes after his knees touch the ground......

I didn’t get that call at all! I was sure it would be overturned. So odd (not that it would have mattered)

That call was bad- the ball was bopping around on the ground for like 2 seconds and ref said he had forward progress stopped? That one was a head scratcher. Lots of chances to win that game though.

Sorting the Sunday Pile: Mitchell Trubisky, Bears offense explode with potential in NFL Week 4

The expectation with the hiring of Matt Nagy in Chicago was an improved Mitchell Trubisky operating a high-flying, Chiefs-like offense born out of Star Wars-like formations. For several weeks we've questioned whether or not that timeline might actually exist, with Trubisky largely struggling outside of the heavily-scripted opening drives.

Wipe that idea away because Trubisky broke out in a big way on Sunday as the star of the Bears' 48-10 thrashing of the Buccaneers. It was a game that featured Trubisky becoming the second-youngest quarterback to throw for five touchdown passes in the first half of a game and winding up with a half dozen scores.

Yeah, that was pretty freakin brutal. Though it ended up not really mattering...Cleveland got the ball back shortly thereafter and scored immediately.
