Give Zay a break.

If it is the same with him this time next year, then get on him.

Being a rookie WR in the NFL isn't an easy transition for every WR that breaks into the NFL.

Andre Reed's impact was minimal. Moulds was awful. Just a couple of examples.

In a word, No!

Reed was a 3rd Rounder from Kutztown, ferchristsake. Impressed immediately and Started Day 1. We traded UP for this lackey, handed him a starting role because we let legit NFL starters walk and has been a colossal failure. In spite of therefore playing with just 10 guys on Offense and countless 3 ‘n outs cuz this gurl can’t catch, we somehow miraculously find ourselves still very much in the playoff hunt on Christmas Eve! He’s been a complete flop and has given no indication he’ll suddenly snap out of it and become a valuable contributor at this crucial time. Our rookie class has provided very real optimism EXCEPT for this washout. IMO, he’s been given plenty of breaks. Way more than anybody deserves.

I think your harshness is a bit premature.  A “lackey?”  A “complete flop” and a “washout?”

Common man!

Yeah, it’s harsh. What would you call a 2nd Round rookie WR with no speed threat to get deep, no legit route running skills, can’t fight through hands and traffic for a contested pass and too nervous to catch the ones thrown into his mid section?

The only thing I’ll agree with you on there is that he lacks “deep speed” to take the top off a defense.  I have yet to see definitive evidence of those other things.  I’ll reserve judgement until I see Zay with someone else under center.

Bills at Patriots

Standing between the Bills ending the NFL’s longest playoff drought are two victories. One must come vs. a Patriots club that just secured its ninth consecutive AFC East crown and has won 17 of the past 20 meetings. No pressure, Buffalo. After returning from his one-game suspension earned during the first meeting with the Bills, Rob Gronkowski — who was suspended for a dirty play at Buffalo — reconnected with Tom Brady and was virtually unstoppable in New England’s game-winning drive in Pittsburgh.

Kelvin Benjamin had a good practice Thursday and though he's questionable for Sunday's game, it's looking good for him to be in the lineup Sunday.

When Mularkey was HC, he took the players out for cheeseburgers one night during a west coast trip to keep the guys loose the night before.  Can't remember if it worked or not.

Is this the reason why Bills fans refer to Mularkey as "Meathead"?

In Week 13 against Buffalo, the Patriots ran the ball on more than half their snaps, and they didn’t attack vertically downfield. That’s a little surprising given that the Bills are a zone-based defense with a mediocre pass rush. Tom Brady usually feasts on those. It’ll be interesting to see New England’s approach in Round 2, with the Bills coming to Foxboro on Sunday.

I’m pretty sure no matter what we can’t be eliminated this week. When was the last time we went into week 17, not eliminated?

People here keep talking about the Meathead Mularkey season. It was probably that Pitt game.

Chances go way down, though. We really need the Colts to win. Jets too.
