OBD is petitioning the NFL to have those two wins forfeited with an apology to each team.

No. Let's not do that. laff.gif

The way posters talk on here you would think teams make 4th Q comebacks on a weekly basis.

Every team but the one we root for of course. tvhappy.gif

LAST WEEK: 11

Another week, another win for the Bills. This time the Bills asked for and received a big effort by quarterback Tyrod Taylor (our seventh-highest graded quarterback through seven weeks). Taylor produced 53 yards on the ground (all after contact), while completing 7-of-10 passes for 146 yards when under pressure against the Buccaneers. It’s unclear whether the Bills, getting better-than-expected play from all three phases, can continue their terrific start in what has become a tough AFC East, but it’s a better league when the Bills are competitive week to week.

Bills at #10

Recap: On Friday, Bills’ general manager Brandon Beane continued to wheel and deal as the team dealt defensive tackle Marcell Dareus to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a conditional fifth-round draft choice next year. On Sunday, Sean McDermott’s club took the field against the Oakland Raiders and took care of business in resounding fashion. Buffalo rolled to a 20-point victory thanks in part to 166 yards on the ground (151 by LeSean McCoy) and a team that totaled four takeaways. Meanwhile, McDermott’s defense limited the Silver and Black to a paltry 54 yards on the ground won big despite 11 penalties for 95 yards.

Next Week: It will be a short road trip but there also won’t be a lot of preparation time for McDermott’s squad as the Bills are in position to sweep the New York Jets for the third time in four years. Back on opening weekend at Orchard Park, LeSean McCoy ran for 110 yards and Buffalo’s offense rolled up 408 total yards in a 21-12 victory.

Playoff Hopes: Here is yet another team that still has so many divisional games remaining on its schedule. On Thursday night they will conclude their series with the Jets and getting the sweep of the Green and White could be very crucial to their postseason chances. If the Bills can continue to make strides, they’re a threat in the AFC East.

This weeks Idiot list

Rams #2?

ESPN had the 3-4 Texans over 5-2 Buffalo.

People are still looking at that Texans team and saying "this offense with their old defense...." a bit like people did round here for two years with Rex. The defense never came back though and nor does Houston's look like doing. That said, I still take them to win that division. Their remaining schedule includes the Colts twice, the Titans who they hung 59 on, the inconsistent Ravens, the finished Cardinals, the hopeless 49ers. I say that gets them to 9-7 and they win the division with that record again. Whereas 9-7 for the Bills would likely mean we miss the playoffs. No matter though.... we can win 10.

My God that might be the easiest schedule in the NFL..

Maybe. I am to be convinced on Jimmy G. Though he is an upgrade on what they had. There is very little talent across that roster though. Joe Staley's and Pierre Garcon's best years are behind them and their young defensive pieces have really not made their mark yet.

that

Garcon's was one of 2 1000 yard receiver last year with Cousins. The wheels don't fall off that fast.

The more wins the 49ers have the worse pick NE gets.

CBS and Pete Prisco.. a true Bills detractor.

#9 Sean McDermott is in the conversation for Coach of the Year. He's done a heck of a job, but the next five weeks will define this team.

4th best team in the AFC. I can dig that
