Bozzio was side by side with Joe Travers who had a minimal drum kit - when they traded drum solos I enjoyed Travers more. Which isn't to suggest that Travers is 'better' than Bozzio - just an observation that surprised me. I'll also take this opportunity to post (probably not for the first or even second time) my fave from the Zappa Plays Zappa tours. Absolutely love the guitar jam/solo that starts around 4 minutes in. I can understand the appeal. It just isnt my cuppa tea much any more. Its too busy for me musically. Im not much of a jazz fan for the same reason. Ive actually seen him live twice both shows I did enjoy but that was years ago. I saw Dale and Terry Bozzio with Missing Persons at a club in Phoenix around the same 80's time frame. DrW
I love Roxy Music. While Bryan Ferry's voice and song-writing is unique, the other band members are no slouches either. My favorite tune: "A Song For Europe", with a long sax solo by Andy Mackay in the end of this live version. Enjoy. 1
SinceThe70s
Porcupine Tree and Robert Fripp is probably not everyone's cuppa tea 😀 ! Works for me, maybe others. 3

Talk about commanding the stage... and yeah, this band had no slouches.

Not bad 🙂

Love the vibe here 🙂 NICE!!!! check out Vincent Black Lightning or may I suggest. Sadly they've broken up. they were primarily a festival touring band and yes, they created a great vibe. you can still hear the blonde singing on Folgers ads.
