After watching him in the Shrine Game (where I thought he was effective, yet inconsistent), I wondered if he might just be a healthier version of Hau'oli Kikaha. Rotational guy that gets a lot of effort sacks but not really a great all-around player.

Kikaha laughed so hard at this that he tore his ACL and will be out again this season.

I liked what I saw at Shrine Game......I assumed he wouldn't test that great athletically and go in round 4-5, which would have been a good place for a team to take and develop him without much pressure. Probably not the case now, but we'll see.

His 3-cone needs to be above average at those speeds. Excited to see how he puts together the rest of his day.

I agree but I like S Justin Evans from Texas A&M in the 3rd, he would fit our scheme perfect.

I hope he stays under the radar and he happens to be our pick in the 3rd, should it be Watson and Jones in rounds 1 & 2 respectively. That would be acceptable ;)

He feels "idiot proof" to me as a prospect. High floor - high ceiling

If by some chance he's there at 10 I expect him to be the pick.

Edit: Not seeing him making to 10 however.

Justin Evans has a quad injury, won't run tomorrow. Shame because I think he'd be in the 4.45 range.

And one of my guys started out alright.

@JoshNorris

Pita Taumoepenu 1st forty 4.67, 10 yd of 1.66

Evans could be a nice target for the Bills if they want a safety that can play later in the draft.

MG just Broad Jumped 10.8. Thats an Explosion score of 84.8 (Bench+Vert+Broad...70 is considered a plus explosion level)

Congratulations Cleveland, you are about to get better.

unless they trade the pick, which has been their history Edited by YoloinOhio

Agree a million percent. It seems hard to go wrong with Stanford guys since Harbaugh got there. High character, smart guys. The best and most true college football program in the country.

Plus, Thomas can talk us up to David Shaw if SM doesn't get the job done. :)

Love how much Mayock hates broadcasting the combine. His little you can tell how annoyed he gets throughout the day

Is that kinda like a porn"star" saying they hate sex?

Maybe it is just being with Rich. Something obviously annoys him about the entire thing if you listen to him.

Almost identical to Mario Williams--just as I said

Up until Rex's first year, we got the best of Mario. But could you imagine if he had Kyle Williams' motor? He would have been a HOFer. I bump into football players occasionally and measure up size wise decently with a lot of them. MARIO was a different human being. God made him to be a dominant DE.
