Lots of (dis)information about this administration's role in stopping human trafficking... wonder why Alec cares so much to intentionally lie about that position?

You know, I remember the student driver's handbook for New York State used to have a list of offenses that would get your drivers license revoked, and one of them was advocating the overthrow of the US government.

Then again, I guess Alec has his own driver.

Translation: "we've had hypersonic tech for decades but now we're ready to share it with the public (because we have better stuff now in SAPs)"

Does this mean that the article you linked a month ago about the degrading US military capability that's way behind Russia, was complete bull *****?

I don't recall that one...

But without remembering the specifics, no. Front line forces versus what's hiding in SAPs is what's at issue here.

There are compartmentalized projects and technology which exist(ed) within the corporate MiC world rather than to specific nation states to avoid exposure and oversight. Over the decades since 1947, many, many, black projects were moved from the control/purview of official military branches to the corporate world where they could be immune from congressional oversight.

A big part of the ongoing shadow war is regaining control of these projects and returning them to the people who funded and paid for their development (unknowingly) for decades.

Even if you don't subscribe to the above, it's an established fact that military technology in the US is at least one decade, if not many decades, ahead of what's available on the consumer market. That they're preparing to release this tech to the public now means, likely, the USAF has even more advanced tech otherwise why would they reveal this strategic edge?

I have no idea where this should go. This is part of the Sleepy Sessions leak investigations:

The sentencing — which also included three years of supervised release after Mr. Albury gets out of prison — brought to a close the second leak case charged under the Espionage Act during the Trump administration after Attorney General Jeff Sessions's  vow last year to crack down on unauthorized disclosures of classified information.

"Capability" is far more than technological superiority.  US military capability is severely constrained by logistics, reliability, and maintenance issues far more than advanced technology.

Thanks for the definition, Dexter.  But it's meaningless in the context of the article that Greggy posted a while back, that even you laughed at.

I'm not trying to be defensive at all and am not denying I posted it, I just don't remember which article you're referencing. If you point me to it, I can better answer your question about my take.
