Mike Rodak is an idiot

Recommended Posts

Was just on ESPN saying that the offense bounced back last night and it is really the defense  . What ! a defensive TD and two bombs doesn't make a good offense. the D is bad but the O is worse.

He's the kind of person that will say - "Well, Taylor completed 60% of his passes for 297 yards, 3 TD and only 1 INT, with a passer rating of 112, so he's !@#$ing awesome!!!"

I have never seen a QB get fluff stats more than Taylor and I can't believe how many people fail to realize that the majority of these sexy statistics have nothing to do with the few games the Bills have won with him at QB.

Rodak is a fool and so is anyone else who thinks that a) Roman was the problem or b) this team has a long-term answer at QB in Tyrod Taylor.

Oh I have.. EJ...He is the king of the 80 yard drive when down by 3 TD's and 2 minutes left in the game...

And I would say that even bigger fools are the ones calling for EJ after everything he has already shown us.

He has shown us that he's better than Taylor. Does that mean he's a great QB? No. It just means he's the best QB in Buffalo.

Rodak is the worst. He's a low paid beat guy, who took the job for what it reads on his resume (ESPN) than for the quality of the job. This is where the WWL saves $ so they can hire every recently retired athlete with no broadcast skills. Rodak roots against the Bills and it only frustrates me more when they're proven right. Betting that the bills will be disfunctional is akin to betting the grass will be green. Doesn't exactly make you Nostradamus.

This is so beyond absurd you must be trolling. He has done nothing to show he is even remotely in the same zip code as Taylor. Hence his place squarely on the bench. He is so bad Marrone actually quit an NFL head coaching job rather than go into the season with him as the QB.

I'm not trolling at all. And Marrone quit because he thought he would be in demand after leading the Bills to their first winning season since 1876. Him quitting had nothing to do with Manuel.

Manuel is smarter than Taylor. He reads defenses better. He finds receivers better. If you disagree with any of those statements, then you haven't been paying attention.

Everyone gets so enamored with the meaningless HR throws and the meaningless statistics. I get it. It's easy to do. But the truth is that Taylor is simply a very bad QB, as far as starters in the NFL go. He's a high quality backup.

If you actually feel that way then you have no eye for football talent whatsoever. If you feel that way then you think you have a better eye for talent than the last 2 coaching staffs who thankfully and rightfully buried EJ's ass deep in the bench. Your observation is patently absurd and to accuse me of not paying attention is farcical .

My observation is that this team sucks and this team's current QB is painfully inept. Your cute millennial catch phrases won't change that. This team sucks. And it sucks primarily because Tyrod Taylor sucks.

I don't know what this "eye for football" is of which you speak, but my eyes do work (better than my ears, but that's a different story) and if you think Tyrod Taylor is any !@#$ing good and you DO have an "eye for football," then you should get it checked.

Tyrod's ability to read a defense and complete routine 3 to 10 yard passes is farcical.

Hopefully this OC thing burns a fire under everyone's behinds.

2 more crap games and its bench time.

Deciding who's better between Taylor and Manuel is really splitting hairs. Neither one is very good for different reasons. The one thing that makes Taylor an improvement over Manuel is the fact that Manuel turns the ball over likes it's going out of style. This is a very bad week for me to hear anyone praise EJ. The guy can't even execute a QB sneak without fumbling the ball. He's a train wreck. Edited by DriveFor1Outta5

I agree that this team sucks and Taylor hasnt played well thus far but then I step back and look. He generated 24 points of offense. It wasnt pretty but last I looked you don't get additional points for style? Were there broken plays? Yes.. so the fact that he is elusive and is able to extend plays to a point someone gets open (broken play) is a bad thing? The thing I take exception with is those calling for EJ after he has Failed time after time after time after time when given a chance.and then the have the balls to tell me I dont know what I am looking at which by the way is consistent with the multiple coaching staffs that have also seen his lack of skills and buried him on the bench. Oh and if his skills were desired you would think other teams would ld be sniffing around in the off season for him. If this has happened we have certainly not heard about it.

If we did bench Taylor I'm hoping that we would give Jones a chance to see what he can do. Brining out Manuel would result in the same W-L record we'd have with Taylor, and we wouldn't learn anything new. We already know that the guy can't even pull off a QB sneak. I never want to see EJ on the field again.

The things you mention about EJs strengths may even true, TT however has the better arm, is a far better athlete, is a more accurate passer and seems to be cooler under pressure.

Rod dick is a dick. Say what u want about EJ, I do, but the kid is a true professional and an all around class act not to mention a great teammate. He'll do well in life, football or not. Personally I think he'll start for someone at some point, by injury or otherwise and I think he'll be..ok, nothing spectacular but people won't be calling him a bum.

Anyone see this little gem yesterday?

@mikerodak

Tom Brady is on his couch, Jimmy Garoppolo is in the training room, and the Bills and Dolphins will still fall 2 games back in AFCE. Yikes.

I also saw a plethora of mouth breathers responding to it. Some act like he has to be a Bills fan to write about them. Mike's hilarious and so many fall for it.
