TC in St. Louis
Leif Larsen. The reason I know this is I just saw a guy who looked like a statue of Leif Erickson. That made me think of Leif Larsen. So I googled it and found out that he is a professional boxer or something. And his claim to fame is that he bench pressed 225 pounds 45 times. We all knew that. His main claim to fame is being drafted five positions ahead of Tom Brady.
BuffalothruMyVeins
Let's not rush to judgment, you know it takes almost 20 years to grade a draft. We might end up coming out on the smart end of this draft selection, still.
Punching Bag
I am sure every other player taken before Brady is a bust and all of the front office personnel should be fired including those who waited until 6th round to draft this guaranteed hall of fame player. That includes the hoodie himself.

TC in St. Louis
Just posted for your amusement. Pretty hard to find anyone in any year who has been as good as Brady. The Pats whiffed on him 5 times before they picked him. Is it a guess when we know who they drafted? Did you know it was larsen? I am a pretty big fan and just found out a couple hours ago. Dennis in NC
So who was that Patriots asst coach (or scout?) who insisted they draft Brady in the 6th round? Â Does anyone remember that guy's name? Is he still in the business? That bah-stahd ought to get the keys to the city of Beantown.

Beef Jerky
Who did we draft when Big Ben or Aaron Rodgers was drafted? Even better TJ Graham over Russell Wilson.

Nanker
Who did we draft when Big Ben or Aaron Rodgers was drafted? Even better TJ Graham over Russell Wilson. Big Ben went #11 to Pitt, and we took Lee Evans two picks later in the 2004 Draft. In the 2005 draft, Rodgers went to GB with the #24 pick. We had no first round pick that year. We had traded it to Dallas the previous year to get JP. Yes, that JP.
CardinalScotts
yep 32 teams passed on Brady 4-5-6 times, their GMs and coaches they should all be fired Edited April 23, 2016 by CardinalScotts
NoSaint
Really to be fair I think the net swing wouldn't have been putting a hall of famer on our roster as much as destroying him and preventing this reign of terror.
Sisyphean Bills
Somehow I'm thinking that if Brady were drafted by the Bills, his career would have gone a tad differently.

machine gun kelly
pointless exercise. We had so many screw ups over the last 20 years it is laughable. We can only hope they make more of the right calls now.
TC in St. Louis
Like I said, I googled Leif Larsen to see what became of him. We all know the Patriots were lucky to have taken Brady in the 6th. Even the Patriots know that.
