McCoy's nightclub fight and the ongoing investigation

Again. No video on Kromer, he pleaded not guilty, and charges were dropped. Still got 6 games. To think McCoy escapes suspension when there is video of a punch is, at best, naive.

A lot of you act like that admitting a player did something wrong and will probably get suspended will somehow make you less of a fan or something. Weird.

Your apples to oranges comparison is funny. That incomplete video doesn't mean much. If it did, McCoy would already be charged.

You're thinking in terms of legal consequences when you should be thinking in terms of NFL consequences. The video of the one punch is more than enough for Goodell and/or the team to make their own judgment. And they play by their own rules. If no video can get Kromer 6 games, a punch on video can definitely get a suspension. Apparently the team agrees with me since they're preparing for life without him for a while. Hilarious that some of you can't see that.

Draft Zeke scrap this Shady plan a year early. Shady is the equivalent of a drunk driver who is driving a car with a set of wheels that are about to fall off.

Nice car....but to risky. Should have never bought it in the first place.

Yes lets draft at a position of strength.....not address weaknesses with one of the few resources we have this offseason

That sounds like a great plan

Are you going to be upset if they dont view the rules the same way you do?

I am curious on that answer.

Our strength is an oft injured rookie RB teamed up with a selfish high mileage veteran running back. Who is the GM? Marv Levy?

So they got a great value RB in the late rounds who has incredibally high upside.....who had some injury issues in year one.

And they got a RB who has been a top 5 running back in the NFL for several years......who up until last year has also shown incredible durability

and then they have Gillaslee.(sp) who was a nice suprise

Yeah.....I would say its a position of success seeing as we had the number 1 rushing attack IN THE NFL

Are we being realistic here or just closing our eyes and drooling over a play because he wears a Bills uniform on Sundays? Give me a break.

Great value? Karlos runs upright and is going to get the snot knocked out of him. Mike G? Really? a guy who had a few long runs late in the year while he had fresh legs. Number one rushing attack? Try 9th. That number is strongly aided by Tyrod and his propensity to run instead of pass.

So your basing your opinion on what you THINK will happen....not what has actually happened

and no....the bills had the number 1 rushing attack in the NFL....and who cares if our QB aided it.....still incredibally solid

Regarding Karlos Williams.....he runs a lot like Antwain Smith who gave us some very solid workhorse seasons as a running back.

Karlos had and will continue to have injury problems, he is to much of a target. Let's be realistic.

So convinced that Shady is a worthwhile investment? Take out that Walletofconfidence and wager on him getting over 1k rushing odds. I'm sure with the looming suspension and unsettling past 16 months you could good great odds.

So if no charges are brought, he's getting four games? Based upon what?

If no charges are brought about? McCoy will be lucky to make a deal for a lesser plea and with the amount of venom coming out from the FOP he will be equally lucky to avoid a civil suit. All of which will bring RG into the mix and his hand has been heavier as each season passes.

If this story doesn't get resolved outside of a courtroom and in quick order you can be assured that even in a case as "shady" as this one it will be received with the hand of overreaction.

FOP venom has no bearing on any criminal charges. Guess you're not paying attention to the back and forth between the FOP and the DA's office.

Um, based upon the punch caught on video? You seem to have blocked that out of existence for the sake of telling yourself what you want to hear. Why do you think the team is preparing for him to be suspended? Because they know there's already enough there for a suspension to happen. And we all decided that it was the team who suspended Kromer, right? Hell, maybe the team plans on suspending him based on the video regardless of what the NFL and the DA decide.

Seriously guys. It's not going to make you less of a fan by admitting that McCoy did something stupid and might get suspended for it. I promise.

I saw the punch. Did he connect with anyone? How does that fit into the fracas and who started it? That video doesn't mean **** or he's already charged.

Do you think anyone in the NFL office has that video? We can go back and forth and speculate felony vs. a plea to a misdemeanor and add in the civil suit debate.... but in short McCoy put the organization in a tough spot and any reaction at this point is acceptable on behalf of the team.

Fans will debate his impact on the field but the bottom line is that Lesean is a highly paid football player who is staring at the backside of his career. In the short term his availability will be determined by the league office and Philly PD.
