Islamic Terrorism

And in America Christians like Bill O'Reilly and groups get all worked up about challenges to Christmas symbols, and in France criticism of Jews is illegal as antisemitism. If hebdo were publishing same things about them theyd shut down. People in all those groups get worked...point is why do it? Why provoke them?

Bill O'Reily would get mad on TV, not shoot up the building, you moron.

So if they're not true Muslims where's the massive response from the Muslim community to drive them to hell?

Looks as if they are trying...http://news.yahoo.com/french-muslim-calls-on-peers-to-stop-terrorism---the-solution-will-come-from-us-165741864.html

she recently introduced a bill to end our "illegal war" in Syria, co-sponsored with a republican member of the Armed Services Committee.

If al-Assad is overthrown and extremists take over a destroyed Syria, I hate to think what would happen to the over 2m christians there.

Are the Syrians better off with a destroyed country or with Assad before the war.

Who is supplying the rebels with all the weapons and ammo for over 4 years and still going?

"I don't think Assad should be removed," Gabbard said. "If Assad is removed and overthrown, ISIS, al Qaeda, Al Nustra, these Islamic extremist groups will walk straight in and take over all of Syria ... they will be even stronger."

Because Christians and Jews aren't running around sawing anyone's head off.

This Christian nation committed the greatest war crime by far of the new millennium over false WMD claims. And our "dear friend" Israel is run by a bunch of ethnic supremists who for decades have run a brutal, apartheid state, routinely using our high tech weapons on civilians, blowing kids on the beach playing soccer into smithereens, as just one example. You can't be serious. Comparing radical Muslim terrorists to America fighting Iraq. Wtf world do you live in.

Comparatively what we and our allies do is much worse as the body county is much greater. If the west wants to dramatically reduce terrorism the solution is simple: stop participating in it.

If you just look at American actions in the lens of fighting terrorism then a lot of what we do looks kinda stupid and counter-productive but when you realize that fighting terrorism is really down the priority list

(1. Defend the petrodollar, 2. contain China and Russia, 3. boost arms sales, 4. fight terrorism) they make more sense. This is also true with with Saudi Arabia and Turkey they are both more concerned with limiting Shia influence and Turkey also wants to contain the Kurds.

We aren't a Christian nation. Try again.

So now we're justifying bad behavior by comparing other bad behavior?

I don't, as I neither believe nor have ever stated either one of those things.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You're not even honest with yourself, let alone the world.

Such an odd statement to make, even in the context of your comment, especially for a guy who isn't antisemitic.

We aren't a Christian nation. Try again.

Even if we were, we aren't acting in the name of Christianity.

Of course not. But facts get in the way of hate so JTSP has no place in his mind for that kind of nonsense.

i don't know, this seems to fit more in line with things we discussed prior to the Iraq invasion: Middle East regime change was outlined in the neoconservative PNAC plan put forth in the late 1990s--first Iraq, then Syria, then Iran, though they thought they could get it done in 5 years.

Obama/bush, rep/dem, doesn't matter.

Btw, I asked what people thought of gabbard's view, but I see it's been discussed somewhat in the Putin thread.
