I WANT someone on the defense that is a loose cannon and ready to explode. This is exactly why I was so excited to get Spikes, a player Ive wanted on the Bills since he was in college at Florida. Yesterday it was for head butting ohrnberger on the Chargers first TD drive. They had been backed up by a penalty before that, bad look and bad timing. I've been really happy about his leadership and play otherwise but those PFs are unnecessary. Especially for a captain. Did anyone who was at the game see a reason for him doing that to the Center; was he provoked? That is two games in a row he took a personal foul at a critical moment. Calling out an opposing player like that, especially by someone like Fitz, means something. he athletically limited which keeps him off the field at times, hes a hot head which gives the team intensity but also can result in dumb/dirty plays, and hes really good in the running game. we knew all these things before he came, and he for good and bad, has shown them all since arriving. Hoodie Boy in NE is always right. Yeah like on the Seymour trade, letting milloy and welker leave in their prime. No Talib is hurting them this year too. But hey at least he's used the draft to give his HOF qb some solid receivers to throw to these past few years. He's a regular personnel genius. The Seynour trade hurt the Pats on the field no doubt but: Harrison was an upgrade over Milloy Edelman has picked up where Welker left off Revis is an upgrade over Talib. Also, the Pats rush defense, which is #1 in the NFL after 3 games, seems to have adequately replaced Spikes .... and his liabilities in the passing game. The only thing I have is he probably got pointed out by Schwartz while watching the game film Tuesday. Maybe he was an example of PF and how the team needs to break away from such behavior. When he was with the Pats, the refs would look pass that stuff. There is no more favored treatment when you play for Buffalo. Very good point.
