Brandon Spikes get's me psyched up…smart move making him a Captain…true enforcer in the middle….Pepper Johnson knows how to get him prepared and fired up. The move paved the way for the Bills to release second-year quarterback Jeff Tuel and to entrust Orton with all the responsibilities of being EJ Manuel’s backup. The big question, though, is will he be ready to step in at a moment’s notice? Both he and Buffalo head coach Doug Marrone seem to think so. “This week, and I think I'll be ready to go. I want either Gay or Schmidt to handle both the P and KO duties such that an extra roster spot isn't used up. Hopefully, OBD has this in mind no later than September 8th when Bradham is due back from his 1 game suspension.
