Instead of focusing on Income Inequality, maybe we should be focusing on Putout Inequality

Can you imagine how messed up a personality he must have had to not be able to get laid with the money he had at his disposal?

Almost as bad as mine.

Yes, but are you still a virgin? BTW, sticking it up Gators ass doesn't count, or we'd all be considered rapists, or at least promiscuous since Gator willingly keeps coming back for it.

There are no virgins left in America. The Federal Government has been fvcking us all over from the day we're born

Rodger had stabbed and killed three male victims at his apartment already

Last year a kid with a pressure cooker blew up the Boston Marathon

Now this kid stabs 3 people

Maybe we should expand background investigations at Bed Bath & Beyond

A more appropriate headline would be "Father's Grief Exploited by Opportunistic Media to Further Political Agenda".

Myths about Elliot Rodger that some want you to believe

In his outstanding book, “Columbine,” journalist Dave Cullen showed “how legends become truths through continual citation.” A similar dynamic appears to be work in the wake of Elliot Rodger’s brutal murder of six people Friday night in Isla Vista, Calif.

Myth: Rodger’s killing spree was motivated exclusively by his desire to harm women. Related myth: All six of the people killed by Rodger were female.

Fact: Rodger WAS an ultra-misogynist, but he also detested men, including his roommates and even his younger brother. Four of the six people he killed were male:

  • three yet-to-be-named men stabbed to death in Rodger’s apartment,
  • two sorority sisters (Veronika Weiss and Katie Cooper) shot and killed, and
  • one male clerk (Christopher Michael-Martinez) shot and killed at deli.

Some say Rodger hated men only insofar as they presented competition for affection from women, that theory, however, doesn’t explain Rodger’s utter contempt for his “geeky” male roommates, who likely were among those murdered in Rodger’s apartment.

Myth: Rodger used a gun to kill all of his victims

Fact: Rodger stabbed to death half of his six murder victims.

Myth: Rodger was politically conservative.

Fact: Rodger subscribed to The Young Turks, a liberal YouTube channel. Some in the media obviously just 'want' him to be "right wing".............and frankly it wouldn't matter to me if he was. . . . . . he was a disturbed individual who doesn't represent the values of the Left or the Right.

All the more reason that he should not be used in that manner by the media.

Some in social media have already proclaimed him as a perfect example of the "white, privileged male.

Rodger was in fact half white, half Chinese descent, but let's not ruin the narrative.

and last, but not least.................and I really shouldn't have to add this, but the posting history of some of the (shall we say) simpler regulars might misconstrue this post as "defending the shooter"

Of course, to anyone with an IQ that has three digits, it is obviously a critique of the response to the story.

it's an horrific set of actions. trying to make political points from it is wrong. but questioning the quality a culture that continues to produce so many monsters is not.

The internet makes these guys famous very quickly but they also fade out quickly. We can't un invent the internet and crazy people will always exist.

Also this guy was already reported to authorities for mental health issues and they did not suspect anything.

People do bad things. Similar to the calgary mass murderer from a few weeks ago.

While I understand the need to place blame on something other than the fact that the dude was phucking nuts, Jack the Ripper supposedly killed over a three-year period. That, in an of itself, added to the story. Most of the entire world will long forget this idiot the minute another chickenschitt freak kills a handful of people before putting a bullet in their own head. What we need to do is stop acting like each time this happens is the first and worst.

Not to mention, a spoiled rich freak kills five people and the progressive talking heads all jump in to opine about guns and culture.

But leave four for dead in an American Embassy and all you get is, "Dude, that was like two years ago."
