The Minnesota Bezerkers would be a better fit! Again, I am really not against the names, just the images and who should have control over those images. If a team uses the likeness of somebody and that person/culture says they don't like it... Then the group whos' image or culture is used should be in control of that image being portrayed... The thinking behind the legal actions is that the scorn attached to the teams in general as well as individual players may have a negative impact on animals in zoos in those cities. OK, so not exactly the case at the moment, but almost as whiggy as the Redskins thing. (Use of the word "whiggy" is not meant to disparage a former US political party.)
