Hopefully Dareus, Williams, and McKelvin get back soon. Carribgtonbhasnt done much yet this year. And honestly, if CJ keeps playing this way, were gonna think about drafting a RB early in the draft this year. Not saying 1st or 2nd round but CJ is looking bad so far. Like he's regressed from the past 2 years.

good god, no we are not drafting another running back. our o-line is horrible again. great job russ letting levitre and rinehart walk. maybe you could have used some of that "toronto initiative" $$$ to keep our line intact ....since we finally had one that could play after 15 years of sucking

Not good.

It seems we always have an injury problem every year. We may be activating guys next week that can't even play

Injuries were not that big of a deal last year. But yeah, injuries plague this team a lot. Injuries or not, something is missing with this offense. Whether it is playcalling, chemistry, or talent I don't know. But this offence is missing something. With a healthy seconday. This defense is top 15 at least. Offense has me worried though

Well... Wood, Glenn and Pears couldn't play a full 16, Freddy couldn't stay healthy and CJ went down for half the Browns game and was a liability against the Pats the next week as a result. Mario had that wrist thing, Chandler went down even if it was after the season was totally lost. McKelvin didn't finish the season, Brooks missed the beginning of the season, Nelson tore his ACL week 1, Mark Anderson went down early, forcing us to start Kyle Moore the rest of the season...

I don't think the situation was ever so bad that we were playing all reserves on the line or in the secondary, but injuries definitely were an issue.

Depending on definition of starter, and what formation you use as "base", the Bills have up to 11 starters injured, after the Jets game.

http://espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/1623/bills-return-to-buffalo-battered-bruised

Running back C.J. Spiller (knee) -- After rushing 10 times for 9 yards, Spiller sat on the bench most of the third quarter before the Bills eventually announced he had a knee injury. He later departed for the locker room and did not return.

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (fractured right hand) -- Speedy rookie went down in the opener and is expected to miss "some time," according to head coach Doug Marrone. The third-round pick still had a cast on his left hand as of last week, but was spotted during practice doing conditioning work.

Guard Kraig Urbik (left knee) -- Starting right guard briefly left the game on Sunday, but later returned to action. He was seen in the locker room after the game with a large wrap on his left knee.

Guard/center Doug Legursky (left knee) -- Top interior reserve was carted off the field in the preseason finale, but returned to practice on a limited basis last week. Worth monitoring if he takes the next step in his return this week by participating in team drills in practice.

Defensive end Mario Williams (unknown) -- Leading pass-rusher had a quiet game against Jets (two tackles, no sacks) and remained on the sidelines late in the game. Marrone did not have an update on Williams after the game and a team spokesperson would only say that he was undergoing treatment. The Buffalo News reported that he waslimping badly after getting X-rays post-game.

Defensive lineman Marcell Dareus (ankle) -- Former third overall pick left Sunday's game and does not return. No word on his status.

Defensive lineman Alex Carrington (left knee) -- Another starter on the defensive line, Carrington is carted off late in the fourth quarter. He was later spotted in the locker room with a heavy limp before trainers fit him with an immobilizing brace on his left knee.

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore (fractured wrist) -- Top cornerback fractured his left wrist in the third preseason game and remains out of practice. As of last week, he still had several pins visibly extending out of the joint.

Cornerback Leodis McKelvin (right hamstring) -- Starting cornerback went to his knees after a play in first quarter of Sunday's loss, but stayed on the field. A few plays later, McKelvin went down again and did not return. His immediate status is unclear.

Cornerback Ron Brooks (fractured foot) -- For the second straight season, Brooks suffered a fractured foot and will remain out for "some time," Marrone said.

Safety Jairus Byrd (sore feet) -- Pro Bowl safety has sat out the first three games, dealing with plantar fasciitis, a foot condition that has affected both of his feet. Byrd was listed as questionable for Sunday's game after being listed as doubtful for the first two contests.

Kicker Dustin Hopkins (right groin strain) -- Rookie kicker remains out after tweaking his hamstring prior to the season opener. He has yet to practice and the Bills are carrying an extra kicker, veteran Dan Carpenter, until Hopkins returns to health.

Spiller (knee)

Carrington (leg, carted off)

M. Williams

McKelvin (hamstring)

Dareus

Any updates on how bad these injuries are? Are there more players to add to list?

Some Yahoo fantasy updates:

Mon, Sep 23

C.J. Spiller (knee) said he expects to play against the Ravens in Week 4.

Advice: Spiller said he twisted his knee during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Jets and lost some explosiveness. But the fact that he's just a little sore and expects to play next week confirms that there's no structural damage. It sounds like a minor sprain. We'll know more once the Bills get back in practice Wednesday.

Just got a corrected notification about his expectation to play.
