Amazing whenever consensus "best players" and "safest pick" of the draft go down in flames and nobody could have predicted it at the time.... Look at the top 5 that year at the bottom of the article! There are always hand fulls of guys that never break thru to the NFL. I am glad this guy retired. Jarod Mayo 11. Leodis McKelvin 12. Ryan Clady 13. Jonathan Stewart 15. Branden Albert 18. Joe Flacco 20. Aqib Talib 21. Sam Baker 24. Chris Johnson (Tennessee RB) 26. Duane Brown (possibly the best OL in today's game) Guys taken that year that have had VERY good years but not so much now: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Jeff Otah, Felix Jones, Rashard Mendenhall). A re-draft has to have Matt Ryan going first- that Falcon team was a trainwreck before he got there, and now they are a perennial contender- say it with me- the Falcons are a perennial contender!
