ProbablyWrong
Mulkey is back? Good basketball player from UB. I think he got a tryout last year too. Good luck to him.
BillsGuyInMalta
Considering Marrone's past experience with him and our lack of TE depth, Provo could very easily be offered a contract. I think Jean-Baptiste is another one to keep an eye on.
KeisterHollow
Baptiste is promising. Last year's 4th rated NT coming out, I believe. I've been wondering if the Bills are missing a true NT, or a player who fits the NT in a truer sense, but who can slide to DT in the 4-3 looks. I've had that position - the Lutulelei types - in this draft, as the "wild card" in the first round for that very reason. The Bills aren't going to come out and admit they need that type of guy if they feel they do need one. We'll see - anyway, props to the Bills for bringing in these young guys, many of whom would have qualified as picks in last year's draft.
Dr. Trooth
I remember previous enthusiasm about Provo on this board When was that? I must have missed it. Provo was a decent college TE. But, he's not real big, not much of a blocker, and no threat to beat anyone one downfield. He does have very good hands and that's about it. He just does not have the measureables to succeed in the NFL at TE. This is basically a tryout to see if he deserves a shot at the TC roster. White Linen
Frank Summers (The Tank) is interesting to me. 5'9" 248 is a load. 5th round pick in 2009 of the Steelers and spent some time in San Diego so some obvious ties there. He's got good hands for someone with that build from what I've read. I could see him having a legitimate shot being a short yardage specialist, which to me is a second level need for this team. Florida Gator 14
I think Chris Koepplin could be an interesting guy. He has a strong leg, and being from UMASS, he's used to kicking in the elements. Koepplin could be a guy to come in and compete with Lindell.
Virgil
Provo is more of an hback. I could see him as a situation player

#34fan
Hm. Wasn't Provo with the Vikes last season? -Anyway, the guy's got great hands. If they're taking Nassib, they'll probably pick up Provo too. Wasn't a great blocker, but he sure can catch.

I was one of the people banging the drum to bring him in and I will do it again. He had 51 catches and 7 tds his senior year. Maybe a bit more than "remotely skilled." Yes he was from SU which allowed me to see him multiple times. Like the game I continually reference Geno's poor attitude in the dome. Provo went for 6 catches 61 yards and 3 tds. He was unguardable that day! Or how about him having at least 3 catches in every game that year except 1. Proving to be a reliable target.

Quite a few TBD posters have the ability to formulate strong opinons on college players without EVER having watched any of their games! Provo was a stud at the 'Cuse. If he had a better QB, he would have been awesome. Edited April 18, 2013 by #34fan
