  1. One guy I would love to see the Bills make a move for next offseason, if and when EJ crashes and burns this season, is Brock Osweiler, Peyton's backup in Denver. Guy is big with a strong arm and a bit of surprising athleticism for a guy that's 6'8. This armchair QB thinks he'll be a starter in this league sooner rather than later. I obviously don't know if Denver would want to deal him, but they did grab Dysert last year, too. Just a little food for thought, I suppose.
  2. I don't think any of us can forget Trent Edwards going on national television in the "Feel The Buffalove" t-shirt, so I'd say he was probably happy here, too. Not that I hope you're not right, but like the rest of the posters have pointed out, a lot of qb's were happy in Buffalo and that doesn't automatically equal a winner.
  3. They signed that FB from UNLV after the April mini camp, so I don't think McIntyre is back with the team. And I seriously believe that Rodgers takes Easley's spot. I watch SEC football religiously, and have said since the season ended that if Rodgers was still on the Vols, Patterson and Hunter would have been the 2nd and 3rd best receivers on that team. Other than that, I think you're right on. The guard spot will also be won in camp.
  4. Not surprised he did well, this video kind of tells all about Nassib. It also suggests he's a workaholic in the class room. It's also nice to watch because the reporter is very easy on the eyes!! Haha
  5. Sharrif Floyd is a heck of football player, but even a better person. A rough up bringing built character within him, and you're not going to find another player that plays as hard as he does every play. Muschamp even went as far as to say "I have two sons at home- if they end up like Sharrif I will consider myself a successful father." He's 6'3 300lbs, bench presses over 450 lbs, and ran a 4.92 40, so obviously he keeps himself in great shape. He's got really strong hands and a strong upper body. He had 46 tackles this past season, with 13 of them coming behind the line of scrimmage, 3 sacks, 2 blocked kicks, and a forced fumble. To put that in perspective, that is 13 more tackles than Marcell Dareus had his final year at Alabama. I think whoever ends up getting him will have a stud that anchors their defensive line for a long time, and he'll be one of the best DT's in the league. I think he is leaps and bounds ahead of Star Lotulelei. May not be the next Haloti Ngata, but he's going to be a heck of an NFL player. Matt Elam on the other hand is questionable, in my opinion. I think he's a solid player, but may never be elite in the NFL. He's great against the run and is a very good tackler, but he gets beat through the air too much, and I think that was exemplified in the Sugar Bowl when Bridgewater tore them apart through the air. I hope I am wrong, because I love to see Gators succeed in the pros (except Brandon Spikes, f*** him). So I really hope he gets with a solid DB coach that can improve his pass coverage ability, because if he does, I think he then becomes one of the better Safeties in the game!
  6. EJ Manuel Barkevious Mingo Ziggy Ansah Geno Smith Matt Barkley Dion Jordan
  7. I hope so, too. I know it is all but certain that he doesn't come here, but I hope he gets a shot somewhere.
  8. I thought this might ruffle some feathers! http://www.newsday.c...anics-1.5092128
  9. I think Chris Koepplin could be an interesting guy. He has a strong leg, and being from UMASS, he's used to kicking in the elements. Koepplin could be a guy to come in and compete with Lindell.
  10. Not a bad draft at all. Kudos if this was your work.
  11. I highly doubt Jacksonville will be an option for Fitz. Not because he isn't as good as Henne or Gabbert, but in his interview with John Murphy he said that finding a place that was good for his family would weigh into where he went. And unless he intends to live far away from the city of Jacksonville itself, that isn't exactly the most family-friendly place to live.
  12. Starting Left Guard for the AFC in the 2014 Pro Bowl: Corwin Brown!!!!
  13. I think Buddy made it pretty clear in his Mark Dominick phone call that we're not trading up. I think he said something along the lines of "We only have six picks, so hell we need to gain some, not give them up." Trade down maybe?
  14. This is only my opinion, but I say that yes he is that much better than any of those guys, especially if he's paired with Steve Johnson. Along with that, Marrone mentioned that part of his selection process is not only guys that help your team, but also guys that you don't want to have to play against, and I believe this is one of those guys. Both the Jets pick right after us and the Dolphins pick at 12, and I believe he'd be an option for both of those teams, as well.
  15. In this order: C. Patterson E. Ansah J. Jones T. Wilson D. Jordan C. Warmack D. Milliner Trade Back
  16. I don't think Matt Barkley or Justin Hunter are right for us. Barkley doesn't have to arm to play is Buffalo, and Hunter would've been the third best WR on his team, had Da'Rick Rodgers not been kicked off for drugs, and he doesn't have the big frame Buddy is looking for.
  17. Buddy said he wanted an outside receiver that was big and would be open even when he's covered. I don't think we take either of the WVU guys, because they're not real big and Bailey drops the ball too much. I guess Barkley and Woods could be an option with this theory, but I don't think that would be ideal. I would be good with Patterson and Bray if it were to happen like this with the teammates, but I would be happier with Patterson and Tyler Wilson, if he's there in the second round.
