Wagon Circler
Just for your information: In my paper today, the Star Ledger (New Jersey), the Jets beat-writer mentioned that three teams have expressed 'some' interest in Bart Scott: The Chiefs, the Bills and the Ravens. Would think the Ravens would have an edge there as they are the defending champs. His value to us would mostly lie in his knowledge of the system. Max997
Didn't he play for the Ravens under Ryan before going to the Jets? Players that get cut always like facing the team that cut them so Bills could have a good chance at signing him
ChanOverChin
He'd be a nice addition. He's big, experienced, a great leader, and a great run stuffer. Probably only a 2 down player though. The Bills got rid of Barnett to make room for a guy like this. A guy who Pettine really likes and needs to help make his defense a success. Dr. Trooth
Interest does not mean an offer will be extended. Hopefully they just asked his agent if he was available for the minimum salary and a Ted's smokehouse gift card for a signing bonus.
JPS
Bart Scott can only stunt the growth of a guy who may be here when the Bills get good. And he's yesterday's kind of LB with zero coverage skill and see pass rush ability. And he's supposed to be a bit of a douche. Please pass. Normally I would agree with you, but it would be useful to have a coach on the field to start the new defense

atlbillsfan1975
You got to think if all things are equal the Bills have the inside track? He gets to go play in the system he knows with the coaches he knows. Is there any info on if Scott and Pettine are on good terms?
boyst
I was against Scott coming here. But I am interested the more i think of it. The guy can still contribute. If only in 2 downs so what? Merriman was hardly that and worth it. He wont stunt anyone.
Tipster19
I'm of the thinking that maybe be would be a good addition, especially because of his attitude. The goody two shoes haven't been too productive for us in this last decade.

gonzo1105
I'd rather have Pace....a player who can be a coach on the field and still play some.
