Tu-Toned Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 When they zoomed out for an aerial view, it looked like they were naked from the waist down, and they may not have looked so bad with black or yellow socks. The announcer said that they were 2-10 back in 1934 when they last wore them. They should have started a big bonfire with them after that season. mrags Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 With the black pants they wouldn't have been as bad. The Broncos had some seriously ugly throwbacks very similar to this as well. FWIW, most prisons haven't used the black stripes in a long time. NYS uses greens, Texas uses pink I think, with some kind of striping. Lots of places use the high profile orange. Buftex Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Funny, I was really amped about watching the Steelers/Redskins game (my first real look at RGIII in the pros), but not to sound silly, the Steelers uniforms were so butt ugly, it was just hard to watch the game...as my only other choice was the Pats/Rams debacle in London, I ended up just turing to the Red Zone for the early games...I am starting to thing the throwback thing is played out for a while...
